After the Supreme Court accepted the review petition on Article 63A and annulled the presidential reference, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's lawyer, Mustafeen Kazmi, lashed out at the Chief Justice, calling Qazi Faez Isa a hypocrite and insincere person, saying that he cannot be trusted on anything. He accused him of making all these moves just to extend his own tenure. He further said that after the 63A law, the Parliament will turn into a stable where horse trading will occur, and candidates will be bought. He claimed that this law would legalize horse trading, and voting against party loyalty and its mandate would become common, something they strongly condemn and will challenge at every forum. Mustafeen Kazmi also said that the Chief Justice only has seven judges on his side, while all the other judges are against him. He accused the Chief Justice of providing judicial support to the government formed by Form 47, which he called an undemocratic and authoritarian act.
