WoW the coil winding is handmade, they weren’t joking with their custom driver!

Yes, they are. Especially those not "off-the-shelf" drivers. To create custom jig and mold requires a MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity). Usually 10,000 units
@TomatePasFraiche Жыл бұрын
@@KopiOkaya yes it’s not a small manufacturing feat. They probably intend to use the jigs for a lot more drivers, can’t wait to see the refinement in the lower end!
@KopiOkaya Жыл бұрын
@@TomatePasFraicheBy the way, I am with 7Hz. Most of the time, custom jigs and molds stay with the brand. The driver manufacturer cannot reuse it to sell to another brand or make (by contract).

Tube filters are a materials price bracket thing, not a brand thing.
@KopiOkaya Жыл бұрын
Paulo, price is a reflection of how much goes into a product. Every brand has their budget and premium lines. As the saying goes, you get what you pay. Nonetheless, not everyone is willing to pay premium for hobby. They have other priorities in life. In fact, budget products are the "bread and butter" of many brands. Let's put it this way... You can only sell so many $1,000 IEM a month.
