The Airbus Beluga XL is Airbus‘ own outsized cargo plane used to transport various aircraft parts - wings, fuselage, stabilizers from different manufacturing sites to Airbus’ final assembly lines, where the plane is assembled, painted, tested and deliver to the airlines. These planes are seen only at some Airbus sites in Germany, France, Spain and the UK. They are only seen at commercial airports on rare occasions for refueling. Witnessing this majestic giant taking off or landing should not be missed when in Hamburg! The schedules can be found on Flightradar24 using the airport code „XFW“
