My fellow countrymen, i have read through all the comments and i really believe that such issues need unbaised thinking. We need to first understand what comes first, is it India or Islam or Hinduism or Christianity. I am a Hindu but would say India comes first but all others should also choose India first. Having said that, i would also not like to see Indian turning into a Hindu or Islamic state and hence it is also important to maintain ones religious identity under the umbrella of unity. I think conversion to any religion other than the inherited one should be always discouraged by everyone. Uniform civil court should be there. Inter-religious marriages should be encouraged without chaining anyone's religion. I think this is what can really binds us as countrymen and infuses religious tolerance. Any man or women when realises that the most loved person in his life follows another religion, that is when he/she can equally respect and tolerate the other. Please let me know about your views. The sole purpose is to get above the religious differences and think towards nation building.
