I wouldn't be so sure of that though because maybe he has a good insurance plan and if you park it for awhile he might put you in his will and you can keep saving until he figures out what he wants to do with his life next if you didn't marry love it will be less distracting so you should be more focused on your saving goals. If you married someone broke but cute you might be screwed because he's got to much life ahead of him for you to focus on your career so shera was right in making sure there way older then you and to tired to go out sometimes there not as strong as they used to be and even though you might not like him at least he doesn't want to go out every weekend and nobody will try to steal him from you.

Yes, in a lot of cultures, if a man has to rely on a woman’s finances to support the household, he’s viewed as “weak” and “a woman”. There’s a clip going viral of an American man trying to get a Moroccan wife, and he told the matchmaker that he expected this potential wife to pitch in financially. Let’s just say the matchmaker schooled him on how it works in Moroccan culture, and he was left with the boo-boo face.

The more he wants attention the less attention I have for making money, I made that clear. My time is valuable. If he stays the night I don’t work on my side business so I make him feel guilty so he pays me. 50/50 men are straight up dangerous I was on Reddit the other day and came up on a question asking "what would you do if a man didn't pay for the first date" all I said was that I'd probably never speak to them again because it shows a universal sign that the man isn't interested and I find it rude that he ain't putting his best foot forward. There was this guy I had to block because he kept telling me that I deserved to be graped and toetagged and he even wished it on my future daughter. I had an issue with being scared to ask for money from my last BF. We met just before the economic crash in 2008. I lost my job, he had two, he was going through a divorce. I had to go on public assistance and was struggling. The best he did was take me out to dinner or buy groceries. Then he won $50,000 on a Super Bowl bet. And did not offer to give me any money. And I was scared to ask for money to catch up on my rent. I seethed in silence. Instead he took on a road trip to West Palm Beach and we stayed at his friend’s house. He poked his chest out for paying for the trip. I wasn’t a kid when this happened and now I look back and think…”WFT was wrong with me?” I believe it was due to me believing the BS about women being older and having less options. Thanks Shera for getting me out of that defeated mindset.

For the natural ladies especially those with locs...this is anecdotal but...I cut my locs this year and straightened my natural hair. I am also older. I have had natural hair for over 20 years. Those styles attracted dusties, hoteps and villians. By ONLY cutting my hair (and covering my tattoos) the men that approach me are leaps and bounds beyond the ones I attracted in the past. I showed old pictures of me younger with locs and tattoos to one of my current "friends." He loved my long locs and was in awe of my tattoos, but he said that he would not have approached me because he would assume I would not be attracted to his type. So it's not how attractive or well-kept the locs look; my loc'd head is in the advertisements and promotional material for a prominent loctician--the were long thick and neat. It's how the man perceives who you'd like to date. Again, I am older, by that slight tweak, I have changed the quality of men I attract. Sorry, but if you are serious about the level up--get a wig, weave, or blow your hair out. Once you get him, take them wigs off or reattach them locs. My locs are in a bag in my closet lol.

@@LocsnBeautybyHarm I am glad that works for you. I have had a husband (hotep) and two fiancees (not dusties lol). Because I am conventionally pretty, I have been "approached" by male humans since puberty. So for me, it's not about being "approached," it is about the TYPE of man that feels more comfortable approaching. To each his own though. Changing a hairstyle is not a foolproof guarantee, and neither is losing weight, but having a more universally appealing look helps a woman cast a broader net. Again, purely anecdotal, based on my experience only.

Good luck attracting a well off man with a wig... Might as well call yourself a tranny. Nothing wrong with black women wearing locs or their natural hair. As a high value man I prefer the natural types especially black women with locs. I prefer long hair on women and if it's natural even better. I don't like tattoos though. I think it was your tattoos and weight that attracted dusties not your hair. I see many black women with locs with high value men. I see more black women wearing wigs with dusties then with natural hair. No man wants to feel like he is with a man who wears a wig and the afros don't fit in most high end places. Long locs look the best on black women and this is my opinion as a non black man. I'm starting to feel like lower tier black women will say anything to justify wearing a wig. No man wants to date a women who tries to emulate another race of women's look. Straight hair looks wrong on most black women unless you could pass for another race. Short shaved hair on black women look even worse.

Shera is not a narcissist. She's living in her feminine energy. Her feminine energy, the purpose she lives her life for, has nothing to do with you. I recently started looking into and trying to move out of masculine energy. Once I started to understand the concepts behind feminine energy vs masculine energy, I interpret Shera differently now. I happened to see a clip of Shera on TikTok and not long after, my algorithm brought me to living in feminine energy. Of Shera's advice is not for you, then it's not for you. Men and women who let themselves feel angry with her content are just living in their masculine energy. Maybe that's what's right for them? Maybe they need to open their minds? It's up to them. Remember the song "Bills bills bills" by Destiny's Child? That was my jam for a while ❤. Unfortunately even though that was my jam, for a long time I was taught to believe that I was selfish and immature and now I finally realize when I'm so much older that the reason I didn't want to be exclusive was because I picked dusties who weren't paying my bills. I was conditioned to not value myself.

Please listen to Shera . By the time I become "woke" i had spent 11 years in a half dusty marriage. When I started holding him to a standard and holding him accountable for not keeping the house clean, getting a job and see a doctor for ADD ,sleep in the bed with me more. (Yes he liked staying up late plaging video games and movies) getting help from a counselor etc. Thats when he walked away. Its so hard to accept but I thought he would change. He never chose a path to self improvement. I was on a spiritual awakening. Take everyone for face value not for what you think they can be. I do not regret it because I had my daughter but my life could have been so much easier if i would have acknowledged sooner that he never really cared enough to be a better man for me. SHERA IS SPEAKING THE TRUTH. 50/50 will never work emotionally for a man bc they will never fully full their ego bc youre doing half the work . Men need ego and respect to be happy in a relationship. Women need protection and providing in order to feel fulfilled from a man. See how the cycle doesnt work . He knew he could never be the man i needed so he left so i could go find it. It hurts but this is my life now. Now i will never choose a man based on mostly physical attraction again.

Wow, this literally sounds like the dusty I married. He played video games all night every night for the almost 11 years we’ve been together. He only started working two years ago when he lost his disability benefits (a job a helped him get and provided transportation, I know super pickme). When I started asking him to do more as a husband he essentially gave up on wanting to be a better husband for me. Luckily I found Shera and started leveling up so his loss 💅🏾

13:15 sadly, young women who keep their options open while dating a man who will not and cannot provide are being verbally abused and called gold diggers on KZbin channels that do "gold digger tests". Those women are better off telling the man they wont be exclusive cause then they risk ending up on these gold digger test channels.
@Jennifer_Lewis_Beach_Living Жыл бұрын
