51:30 I hope Ahmed Butt bhai replies to my comment. I was a teenager when I first listened to your rap in Humain Azma. It’s been 20 odd years and I’m 40 years old man now, yet every weekend I listen to your Rap in Kahan hai tu, your growling vocals in Fitrat “Bool Qabeel tu chahya hai kiya” man I can’t express the sheer feeling of ecstasy and fire it used to bring. Now the stuff you did later in your life, might have brought a lot of things in your life new fans too, but Let me tell you from a fan’s perspective, the people who loved you in Ep, are still your fans and will remain your fan even after 50 years down the line. But the people who became your fan now for your dramas or movies will forget about it in few months. So whatever you were doing with eP was a part of a revolution, a legacy, it was a part of a greater goal. So many musicians still tell me that they picked up drumsticks because of that drum solo in the Kahan hai tu intro, others tell me they loved the bass intro of Fitrat, I mean you guys inspired a whole generation. If I was part of eP, I would have compromised on everything just for the sake of i spiring the future generations. Sometimes you need to compromise on certain things for a greater good.

Farooq is one of the greatest and technically correct singers emerging in late 90s and early 2000s from the Pakistan pop music industry. A genius in music for sure. I still love his songs Pyar Ka Jaal and Na Kaho - great to hear from you Farooq. Wish you all the best my friend. Butt Sahab, you are doing a great job in letting us meet these heroes. Thank you !

This was great but you barely talked about his life after leaving Pakistan - the Kami/Nabeel saga took up the entire thing. But, I think it was an important to cover that to talk about Haider coming to the band, a definite highlight of the band and Farooq’s life. Omran Shafique episode when?
