Thank you Ahmad for another wonderful interview. I have never seen Juanid's interview before or watched his plays. I remember him always as one of my favorite singers, like Fawad and you in the EP. My childhood and teen were all immersed in Vital Sings, Junnon, and Strings, and it was a very refreshing wave when EP, Call, and Jal came. I had left Pakistan by then (2005), but I tried my best to follow Pakistani music through these bands. I still listen to them, and recently amazed by Zulfi's work at CS season 15.

One thing that is unique about Butt saab’s channel is that he knows about his guests and is well prepared with questions. A good host, like Larry King and James Lipton, is the one who knows about the guest as much as the guest knows about themselves.

I was so crazy about call... their albums are the background music of a few years of my life... my brothers were more in to ep... but i went to their concerts... What a good time it was... such good music! Id legit go to any call tours or concerts! I still think junaid is wasting himself acting ... his voice is so unique... jilawatan is goosebumps inducing! Please make songs! Btw how can u leave out mustafa and rozen e dewar?? They also made a small but meaningful contribution to the music of that time... and what was that Aaroh 😳 never liked them but wo b significant thay... Junaid, if ur reading this, sab bhula k was, is and will always be an amazing song that helped shape an era of music... please make songs please!

I am sorry but i find it so annoying that Ahmad ali butt keeps comparing all musicians and bands with EP! Having lived through the era, EP was never that mainstream compared to jal and call!

I didn't find it awkward as they had both lived days of music together, and had many memories, so why not talk about it. To me, EP was the top of all three. Probably, a personal taste of ROCK, but I still listen to "Mein Rahon Ga" and is one of my favourite songs. The lyrics were very dark and daring. I noticed Call by their song "Lari Chuti" from as an Indian movie song, and then explored them. Jal was all in my list from "Aadat" that later drove Atif's fame, and then Farhan Saeed for "Tu Phir Aaao". Weather EP was in main stream or not, I think EP had and still have some crazy fans like me.
