I went through Postpartum Depression because of my toxic in-laws and my husband's behavior. I was on the verge of harming my 6 month old baby but my mom's Duas & Surah Dhuha made me stronger day by day & ALHUMDULILAH ALHUMDULILAH today I'm doing well. I took therapies and our baby's presence made my husband realize his mistakes. Alhumdulilah, I'm in a much better place now. So time heals & Quraan also helps us in every way.

Your interview makes me cry, my younger sister ( 16 year) has anxiety she weng and is going through alot. I've always been their for her. Whenever whereever she called me , I reached home within hour. She was doing for us for our parents but eventually she realize that she has to do it for herself because noone on earth makes her feel good unless she do it for herself. Thing which you said that you regret for making your parents and husband going through it. She always tells me the same. But you've to realize that seeing you crying and talking and involving us in your pain is more relieving for us then to go by yourself through it and then call us oneday in detoriated state. Just allow everyone of your family member to share your pain and struggle. You'll see change. My sister theraptics is doing great for her too 💕. Stay blessed.

3:32 that's so wrong and unfair to her poor father...why not the other way around like her mother stayed abroad alone and worked hard all the time but her father stayed home and enjoyed the comforts with children.?? 27:13 she is propagating disgusting gender discrimination against men....imagine if a man said proudly k jootian larkio ko parti hain lekin larkay haath ka chaala hain....... 1:11:13 she's speaking against Khalil ur Rehman instead of supporting him... By her logic if a man is r@ping a woman and that woman tries to fight back by scratching him or tearing his shirt, etc then people should attack that lady for hurting that poor man without even thinking that what that poor man(r@pist) was doing to her first.........

I saw this interview and understood that I’m going through something similar and the hardest part is that no one is able to understand what I’m going through . If I tell my husband something he says the same thing k namaz Padho sab theek hojayega…. I’m constantly trying to make his understand my situation but I’m not able to do so …

Ouff this really pulled on my heart strings. My only advice would be- please go to regular therapy. Keep searching until you find a good one. Healing of the mind is very important. You can only go as far as your health allows you to and you have to prioritize yourself. Seek a psychiatrist. Lots of prayers love and well wishes for you ❤

May Allah bless her with true happiness. Listen to ruqyah by Mishary Rashid daily. It helps to remove effects of nazar and other evil things. Please do also look into your diet and improve gut health as there is a strong connection between mental health and gut health. Lastly, reach out for either mental health therapy or as Ahmed Ali Butt suggested, talk things out with some good friend or family member. You are a very strong girl and in sha Allah you will come out of this pitfall soon. Prayers for your health and happiness.

I only wish and send you the best of positive vibes and may your heat always be so crystal clear clean!! And one last thing… Go workout!!!!!! I am extremely lazy and have 1001 reasons on WHY I SHOULD NOT go the gym but it’s totally worth it. If not gym, then do aqua workout or go running… it will help with the mind. I speak from experience, I can somewhat understand your mindset. Take care of yourself and I hope you keep a journal of your journey …

Great podcast! This is the first time I’m watching your podcast Ahmed Sahab and are phenomenal. Saheefa you are very powerful. It is not easy to tell the truth. May Allah heal your pain and guide you in your matters. Please take professional help. Get rid of the antidepressants from your life please. I would suggest to live close to your mom, dad and husband. It’s your loneliness. Maybe you are craving your dad to be close to you and your husband. Do take professional help, please. The doctor of your that helped you I’m sure she should be accessible through email. Talk to her to recommend a good therapist/ maybe a psychiatrist for you. God bless you and your family. Prayers for you

Wow, Butt Sab Mash Allah, I have to admit, I'm usually not one to sit through anything over 10 minutes long-even my own videos! My kids always tease me about it, claiming it's a challenge to watch anything with papa. But this podcast? I watched the whole thing and thoroughly enjoyed it. Your hosting skills and the engaging presence of Ms. Saheefa really made the show shine. Hearing about what she's going through was heart-touching. May Allah grant her Shiffa-e-Kamila. Ameen. Butt Sab, keep up the great work, and may success continue to follow you. Ameen.

Great topic, I think in Pakistan we lack serious education on this disease. I got educated on this topic when i moved to abroad. No one explain/teach us about family life. A girl/wife is valunerable pre & post child birth. Sacrifying a career/education after marriage could be periodically hurt with bad feelings. Kids can also fall into depression.
