All selectors are for entities, but what if mojang added for instance an "@b" to target blocks? Would make a lot easier

4:18, basically is that if the target points to more of 1 entity, the next subcommands will be run per entity. So basically: *execute at @e[type=villager] run summon lightning_bolt ~ ~ ~* & *execute as @e[type=villager] at @s run summon lightning_bolt ~ ~ ~* are the same (thought the first one is slightly more performant while reading)

Great video. Well done with the editing. 14:02 It's been a while since I worked with commands/datapacks, but I believe it would work if you used the path "Items[{}]" to test if there are any items or not in the chest. Instead of just "Items".

Items is to test if the block is a container. Items[0] is to test if anything is in it

Hello, I have some questions about command efficiency 1. What is better? execute as @e[condition] or execute if entity @e[condition] 2. What is better? execute if entity @e[condition] or execute as @e if data condition I want to make my commands less laggy, could you help?

1. they do differen tthings if entity @e means proceed if any entity matches condition. as @e means go to all those entities that match condition and run command. Now if u meant as @s[condition] vs if entity @s[condition], those r the same efficiency. 2. same thing. as @e will attach a command to each of them whereas using selector, it will filter results before attaching. less commands attached means less entities running commands means less laggy.

Okay, what is the point of *in*? I'm playing version 1.19.2 and it literally does nothing. No matter what dimension I am in it literally changes nothing about my execute command. Not gonna lie this is making me very frustrated, I thought I found something that fixed my issue, when it turns out it's basically a giant fucking lie.
