Thank you to the Narrator for presenting this story. Hannah Senesh should have her guilty verdict REVERSED and fully PARDONED under Hungarian law. This includes HONORED as a national hero.

I have the deepest respect for Hannah! She was an inspiration to all the other prisoners in The Budapest prison! When she was executed by the firing squad she refused to wear a blindfold she wanted to look her executioners in the eye. She had a little piece of paper in her pocket that said I loved the warm sunshine.🙏🏼❤️

Hannah Senesh----- Incredible woman,courageous,strong,so young,so charming,....wondering why she chose life of uncertainty ,danger and very high risk.The moment she choses this kind,she ceases to be a person,becomes a reprentative of a cartel ,force ,political face.... when arrested becomes source of information enemy side people want to use, gets beaten up,tortured ,tried not as a woman but a political prisoner , Death sentenceis certain. I feel very bad,because she had so much to offer to her own life and the society .A very talented woman life ended by violence and bullets.

There is a strange aspect to this story. I wonder why the Hungarian authorities would have treated her so brutally after Germany turned on the Hungarians and occupied them.
@olegprovochevitch88512 жыл бұрын
Because the Hungarians were cruel antisemites who still hate Jews to this day. Nazi Jew-hatred fitted very well with the Hungarians who viewed Nazi occupation as liberation, much the same as Austria.

Where are these kinds of human examples of heroism and self sacrifice in the year 2022 ? Today' youth is only interested in amassing personal wealth at any cost. Hannah should be presented in her birth country, Hungary as an example of dedication and community service. My respects !!!!!

1:50 Sorry,but this picture shows the World War II uniform of the Royal Hungarian Army with a military officer's sword, not the uniform of the soldiers in Judea, which was then in Palestine If she was not caught in military uniform but civilian clothes and she was in contact with partisans, she was in radio contact, in that case he was not classified under any military law, but was classified as either a "spy" or a "partisan activity", for which the death penalty was imposed in Hungary from 1942 onwards, not only for her, but for everyone involved in this kind of civilian armed (partisan) or spy activity took She also had to reckon with this when he was dropped behind enemy lines that if she is caught for this action, she will receive the death penalty since this was officially and publicly law on the part of the German and later the hungarian military from June of 1941 The partisans or spies were executed without exception by both the Germans and the Hungarians, usually the Germans shot the spies to death and the partisans were hanged in a public place and a sign was placed around their necks in German and Russian Ukrainian language, saying "these persons were hanged because they made of partisan activity against soldiers" in public So, in 1944, she must have been fully aware of the consequences of partisan or spy activity.

Very touching. But what would she have thought about Israel itself having now become a Nazi state with expansionist tendencies? Hitler wanted Elbow Room in Europe. Modern day Israel wants Elbow Room in the Middle East. When Louis Theroux did a documentary on the Jewish settler movement in the Middle East a few years ago, one of these illegal Israeli settlers threw his arm to the horizon and said: "Eventually all this will be Jews. Nothing but Jews!" Two wrongs don't make a right.
