Executive Contour Haircut at The Barbershop by João Rocha in Ponta Delgada, Azores
This video was filmed with our friend João Rocha at his barbershop in Ponta Delgada. João is very passionate about barbering and absolutely loves his work. He grew up on the island of Terceira which is where he opened his first barbershop.
Approximately a year ago, he opened his second shop in Ponta Delgada on the island of Sao Miguel. On most days while we were there, you would find us stopping by the shop visiting João, Silvia, Marco & JC!
The beautiful Azores was the final destination of our travels for 2018! We stayed on the island of Sao Miguel for a bit of time exploring the natural wonders and experiencing all the incredible hospitality from the people we met.

KALVIN B it depends we work with walkins so each day is different, and the number of clients and the time we spend in each client for me is not important, we want to give all attention to the clients because it’s or duty.

I love it, no bullshit. Just a straight forward haircut with some classic old school moves. razor over comb is a technique i rarely seen used correctly. Seems like a lot of "barbers" are just trying to have their 15 minutes and they think to get it they have to do bullshit fake fancy razor moves . You have a streamlined routine to get your cuts done time efficiently and still look on point. Youre a great barber man, This is a guy that could feed a family of 4 in this trade. All the guys videoing every haircut they do and taking a hour and selling bullshit the entire time could get off their high horse and take a moment to learn something from a working class man.

When we say "barber" we should talking about professionals like him. He uses the accurate and correct techniques and services (clean up the ears and eyebrows, check out the mirror to see the details) and improves the final result using new products and machines. Perfect !!

@@sutrimahvivo130 I think if the Owner, João, does haircut + beard it's 30€, for an island like São Miguel this is premium price for premium quality. Most other competitors do it around 10€ - 15€ but with way poor results compared to João and using less intens. Also, his barbershop is always full, we need to book with lots of time before going

Don’t despair William. I once had a great head of hair, but haven’t needed a barber for 20yrs. Then along came Harry, and after watching for a while I decided to get my first straight razor shave. Heimies Haberdashery in St. Paul, Minnesota. Coffee in a real cup, barbers chair, hot towels, and a little pampering. Oh what fun!

Yeah fantastic job also out of any of the cuts I think one of if not the most suited to his natural features though on a personal note I'd have gone for a slightly more subdued version of it - the quiff is a little extravagant in style for my tastes.

Ok so within the last 3-4 months I’ve become such a huge fan of Mr. Haircut Harry(I know!
