Executive Man By Stirling Soap Co | The Daily Shave

Hey what’s going on everybody!
Gerard here and today we’re shaving with one of the most popular soaps out there. Stirling Soap Company’s Executive Man. This is a soap inspired by the great niche fragrance Creed Aventus.
Black currant, pineapple and bergamot come off with nice florals in the middle, on a base of oakmoss and musk. It is not a clone of Aventus, but within that family of fragrances.
What can I say, I love this soap. Known as the best bang for your buck, you get 6 ounces for about 13 bucks, which for the quality of soap you get is fantastic. Tallow, lanolin and shea butter make this soap super slick and super easy to whip into a fantastic lather.
I brushed the best bang for your buck soap with the best bang for your buck badger brush. This Yaqi Mountain Lake 2 Band Badger is a steal at about $27 on West Coast Shaving (as I write this) Comfortable handle, easy to grip and hold, and the hairs on this are plush and oh so easy to create a great lather with. It is roughly the same size as the WCS Two Tone Synthetic Brush, but just a little more narrow at 24mm vs the WCS synthetic at 26mm. Also, comparing it to my WCS Deranged Edition Silvertip which comes it at 28mm, you can see the difference in the size and the loft of the knot in the brush. With that said, find me a two-band badger at this quality for under 30 bucks, I’ll wait. It’s easily the best deal on the market right now.
Finally, I mowed it down with the Edwin Jagger DE87 (not DE89 as previously stated). Same head as the DE89, same great shave. It was one of my beginning razors and it still mows things down with a Dorco Prime blade in it (Thanks Eric!)

Stirling is in my top 3 companies. Along with Barrister and Mann and Soap Commander. Executive is one of my favorite scents but I find myself mainly using it for date nights. So heavenly!

That Yaqi 24mm mountain lake 2 band badger brush is exactly the very brush I'm on the fence about next target. I already have 4 yaqi brush(3 synthetic, one 24mm aqua high mountain silvertip badger brush). Comparing to silvertip badger, how is the feeling and efficiency of the 2 band badger yaqi mountain lake brush? And the color of the handle is not boring or still decent? I like my CDNIM fragrance by Armaf, the clone of Creed Aventus. Does the Stirling Executive man soap have sweet pineapple scent for sure?

@@heyitsgerard - If you have Aventus, just roll with that. I can't afford it😂 That isolated, ramped up Pineapple of EMP is great, though. Makes me wish Rod would just do a straight, sweet/ripe, Pineapple. Kind of like that Peach he did.
