Idk about that part. They just wanted him to touch all the bases for the homerun to count.

What the hell is that damn game anyway. I didn't grow up in America and i don't get anything. I have seen several baseball videos now and I still don't understand any of the rules. Why do they start to play catch all of the sudden? Why does the guy with the bat wear head protection and the guy throwing the ball, who (i'd think) is way more in danger because he is directly in front of the bat guy, not? Why are the spectators not protected? In football (or as you call it: soccer) the organizers are worried about the well being of the spectators eventhough the ball is a very light one and in baseball, where the ball is hard as a brick, the spectators seem completely unprotected. This game is a mystery to me.

Yo legit, some of these "oddities" are what make baseball so fun to watch. Like how there's always the possibility of something you never seen before happen in a game, because of the nature of the sport being so "odd", where the game is always frozen until you put the ball in play, therefore there's so many intricacies that can come up to surprise you in a game. It's crazy to think that a sport that's being played for over a century can still surprise you with something new every game. This is why I think that sport it's the best one created by men, no kidding. I love baseball.
