i moved from dallas to oakland and it’s been comforting seeing Elvis on the diamond over here, even if his numbers have been less than stellar. an all-around great dude and clearly a great clubhouse presence.

No disrespect to Elvis, but not only was Beltre a great ballplayer, definitely a HoFer, he seemed to have more fun than anyone I've ever seen playing the game. I've never been one to follow the AL, but damn I loved watching Beltre play, he will be seriously missed in baseball, but as I said, I think he's destined for Cooperstown.

I became a Rangers fan the day I saw him get his 3,000th hit on tv. And then when I found out about his history as well as my team’s, it makes me appreciate Beltré even more now. See you in Cooperstown, Adrian. The greatest third baseman to never win a World Series. Change my mind

Honestly it has nothing to do with race. When you find someone that you can joke around with, regardless of anything, you'll be able to laugh and have fun during anything. Putting a race on it just tries to diminish the love of baseball. 🤦‍♂️
