I love seeing this blast from the past and more VGC! And also, that montage at the end was _baffling._ I have never seen commentators who know less about the game they're watching and I've watched a Smash event where they got people who literally don't play the game to commentate a round as a joke.
@theendersmirk58512 жыл бұрын
The real issue is they clearly think they're being smart. If they had this little of an idea, but had a more upbeat tone to it, you could believe they're memeing, and were selected exclusively for lack of knowledge as a joke. Issue is, they seem to be legitimately under the impression their comments were serious.

Excellent retrospective on the tournament and the 2012 format for both newer and older players alike. What really sets this video apart for me is despite the success you achieved with the team, you've clearly put thought into how it could be improved in a modern context, and more importantly how it affected your building and play habits down the line. the point of mentioning how 2012's format managed to not become too decentralized is a big one for lots of games. I feel while people seem to clamor for variety and 'get tired' of seeing 'the same old things', it really helps competition to be able to have a good idea of what is going to appear to prepare your team for it. That's actual problem solving and I think its far more interesting than a game with so many viable options that you can't prep for them all.
