Southern Sun24, test of a rescue system on a SNA Suffren type.
This exercise was carried out - from may 14th to may 17th- on Toulon ‘s coast. Its aim was to try for the first time the rescue equipment on a Suffren type, the SNA " Duguay-Trouin"
The exercise was performed with a Submarine Rescue Vehicule (SRV), the NATO Submarine Rescue System (NSRS).
Operated by France, United Kingdom and Norway- this tripartite facility- is able to support as much as 15 human per rotation
