Thank you so much for sharing! Your honesty and vulnerability are so encouraging! I just committed to recovery and am making my way through my first week without exercise after years of using it as the main means of compensation in my eating disorder. How long did you and your team decide to take exercise out of the equation and how did you reintroduce it once you were ready? Really helpful video! I have a walking obsession ... Does this applies to me too because walking is not exercising ... I do 2 heures a day but I force myself everytime

Yeah! obsessive exercise in any form is what this video applies to. Walking is still movement and is often used as exercise. LIke anything, too much of a good thing is not healthy for you whether that is physically or mentally. I challenge you to challenge that movement and ask yourself why you do it and what you believe about it or yourself if you don't do it.

I do 10k steps everyday and cardio as much as I can or I beat myself up even if my body is aching I don’t know how to stop.

I cut out exercise for a few months. I think it was about six months but it is different for everyone!

Thank you for this video! I want to go all in and also stop exercise, but I find it hard to give myself permission and stopping the exercising also scares me a lot! I would love to find someone who I can talk to who either did the journey allready or goes on this journey with me. I know it is so random through the internet, but does someone maybe want to be my buddy in all this? I also struggle with allowing time off from school, but I feel like I hit a wall and I just need months of vacation right now.. But also here, allowing myself is hard... Someone wants to be my buddy? (I am 23y old and live in Belgium, but I don't care where you are from)
