@ 🤦‍♀️ My daughter said the same thing when I asked whether she had checked her last paycheck. I pointed out that humans are entering the data, which means mistakes are always possible. I don’t understand the blind trust of technology - especially when they know it doesn’t always work!

Hello Daphne. I enjoy your WIP chats both for hearing about your life updates and to learn about diamond painting. What is new, what you like or don’t like and why. I enjoy your how to video series also, I started diamond painting in Feb so I am still learning and enjoy tips, tricks and recommendations. I have switched to using glue dots in my pen and think it works better than anything I had tried before. I see that you use a straightener to align your drills, where did you purchase yours. I have one but I think it is not as thin as yours. I look forward to seeing all of your new content and also enjoy hearing about your new life in Canada.

I’m just a few weeks into my DP journey and truly enjoying it!! Your videos are such good information and company. I learned from my coloring hobby (still doing it) not to make a stash (at least not as big 😉) For now I’ll be allowing myself one canvas and one tiny project at a time (ie greeting cards or bookmarks) Once I’m 3/4 through with the canvas I’ll get my next. I could see myself going crazy and getting way more than I could ever finish. Thanks for your videos!! It’s been fun to hear about your move!🧡🖤🧡

Enjoyed listening to ur ramblings, it's like having a coffee ☕ with a friend. It's a much damper more cutting cold because of so close to the water. My favorite events are by Mindy. 2 Chuckalongs, and 2 smashinthespecials. What makes the events for me is the sharing in a group setting. Mindy’s group uses a labeled thread where you post progress. They use that thread for any giveaways. It’s easy to find, and nicely contained. winning is nice but thats not that important. Hope the postal strike gets resolved this week. It’s slowly turning into quite a cluster with every day that passes.

Glad to hear you’re finishing up on Conversation; I’m looking forward to seeing your WIP on the Lighthouse ~ it too is a cute one! I reached a few of my goals in 2024 : tracked all my purchases in detail, completed 24 kits, purchased some things from small shops, participated in my 1st events ~ SWTM, Drills & Chills, The Season of Spangler, Jingle Drills, Winter with DAC and Merry Morales (6 events to use as motivation and selection to get through my stash), and I purchased kits for these events in 2025, except Drills & Chills - need one for it. Once you get the registration stuff behind you, you’ll feel better. 😊

As you were discussing your purchases from Diamond Art Club being switched to Canadian $ I thought that it might be helpful to have a video explaining how to maneuver when to use what points in purchasing from Diamond Art Club. I've posted on the Diamond Art Club Facebook VIP group asking for strategy and have been mocked.

I don’t know if there is a strategy, because DAC only lets you use points for certain things, and only once per order. So, for example, I can use points to take $ off the order, but then I have to pay for shipping. Or I can use points for free shipping, but then I can’t use them for $ off on the same order. It depends on how many points you have and how much you are ordering.

Enjoyed your update. I watched your wip last week and laughed about the Mushroom painting. I thought the same thing and said to myself, is this the tge year of the Mushroom! For DAC, if i order on a Saturday, I woll get it by Monday or Tuesday. I live Edmonton Alberta but because it's flown into the Edmonton airport, I probably get it faster. Canadian shops, Oraloa ships from Quebwc. I love Creations Morin, Bees Crafty Corner and Yellow Dog Designs. Theses shops are release papers, trays, putty and other things as well. They are all on Facebook. Creations Morin and Yellow Dog do have websites and Bees Crafty corner is on Esty. All 3 owners are amazing! 😊

Hi Daphne, don’t worry you are not along, I also prefer pen and paper! I have a paper log book and I just prefer it so much more to going it on an app. I haven’t got any major goals for 2025, however I am on a no-buy until July 2025 and then I only intend to buy from either DiamondArt Studio UK or Jaded Gem Shop for the rest of the year. I ended up with 7 paintings from BF, CM and Disney so am freaking out a bit about how high my stash is, it’s small compared to most but is now in double figures.

Lol I agree converting between the °C and °F is complex math to mentally calculate and I wouldn't have a clue. It's been a hellishly hot week here with 36°C days. We're expecting some storms so hopefully it will cool down abit with those. Just wanted to offer a friendly suggestion since I do like to watch as you diamond paint, if maybe you can try with the auto focus off as it keeps switching as your pen comes into focus as you place.

Yes Analog, yes check book. You’re not old. That bank teller was too young 😂 Only event I do is the Chuck A Long twice a year because (1) he’s my favorite artist bar none and (2) Mindy lets me email my progress photos. I’m not on fb and this analog/checkbook gal isn’t filling out a google form just to enter an event. Google doesn’t belong in crafting. 😖 You explained it all to me when I asked about it and it made complete sense. It’s just a red line for me. Hope the postal strike ends soon. Imagine they are holding an entire country hostage during Christmas. Sad…

Hi Daphne, I just started really getting into diamond painting this year so I had no goals set for this year. Maybe I'll set one for next year. Is 24 projects too ambitious? I really enjoy your DP for pets event and I also participated in a few more events including drills & chills, summer with the masters and Mucha mania (hosted by single and placing). I heard that there will be a year long asian themed dp painting event (hosted by spark Lea diamonds) for 2025, so I planned a few kits for that. I like the fact that it is year long because I might be able to finish a painting without rushing! I am not a fast diamond painter. Thanks for the video and I hope for your sake that the Canada post strike ends soon. 30 day renewals sounds like a huge inconvenience! 😢 Thanks for keeping my company while I folded laundry.😂

Hi Daphne, sounds like you are doing well. I will be co-hosting an event next year in August with Diamond Grandma called Vintage 2025. I ordered two victorian ladies that I want to do for this event. Diamond Grandma has events scheduled for the whole year with different co-host each month. I also will participate in L and L Diamond Painting Event that they will host in September called in Memory of which is for 9/11 Lee and Lenore host this event. I know Crafting with Shay will be doing I think two events. A mermaid 🧜‍♀️ in May and then in August Oz in Aug. Those are the ones I know of right now. Sending hugs from Kansas. 🌻 💎

hi just a quick question i have noticed on some of ur wips when u have zoomed in the camera tends to zoom to ur hand when placing drills then back to the pic would it be possible to try it a little less zoomed in as its kind of zooming in and out and causing me to not be able to watch i understand if its just one of them things thanx
