Doing all of that crying because you don’t want to take care of your two children that you helped produce. She is making it clear that she wants his physical support as she is clearly the breadwinner. Drop them off and pick them up from school, give her breaks, spending quality time. He is more focused on the money. You knew you didn’t have the money when you made the children! I hope they turned out okay!

Exactly. So many men think “support” is the same word as money. They can’t fathom the notion of actually doing any actual parenting. It’s disgusting. If she’s working two jobs and you’re on disability, then she needs you to keep the kids in your house after school until she gets home from work. She needs you to take them to a doctor’s visit while she’s working. She needs you to not be a deadbeat. No wonder they divorced.

I like Judge Judy having Byrd take the kids out of the courtroom. Whatever drama happens between their parents, they don't need to be witnesses to it. What I see is a mess. She has the court order for custody, but apparently she can't care for them. He doesn't have enough money to care for them. I have no idea what either of them wants, but my guess is that it can't happen.

I think the better idea is him having primary custody and she pays reasonable child support. She would be able to work and not worry about child care. They each want the other to take care of the children without offering any help. He had the children and she offered him nothing but wants him to help if she gets custody. Then he talks all this stuff about going without so they don't go without but when asking him to provide for the children if they go with their mother now he's on disability and can't do anything but 66 dollars a month. That’s like a dollar a day to feed his kids.. and him crying about “doing without?” Every single mom does this and if they dare complain they are called entitled and unfit and selfish. Boo-hoo poor dad CHOSE to have kids and picked their mother but we should feel sorry for him? Dads who scream about rights and 50/50 go through this too, suddenly they have to do 100% of the work that comes with their kids instead of the 10% they refused to even do when they were a family, now dad loses his mind and can’t afford anything and can just go out or get drunk or game all day like he did when he was married and now he’s gotta clean his own home and feed himself after a long day and his kids, and the wife finally has some freedom and options for self-care and hobbies and even a social life or boyfriend. Dads who demand their rights very often get a gut punch when the reality of that settles upon them. Hahaha

She wants to still be the legal guardian because if sh hits the fan and he tweaks out on the kids, or an emergency happens at the school, she needs to be the one who is called first. What she really needs, is an affordable babysitter, a really nice carpooling neighborhood mom to help with sports and school pickups, and to give these kids a latchkey. Why does she expect money from the father when he has the children full time?
@AdaraBalabusta
@AdaraBalabusta Ай бұрын
If she has them, he should pay child support. Mom is working two jobs while dad is on disability. He could pay a lot more than $33/month/child if he was pulling in $1200 from disability. Then mom would not need to work two jobs. Alternatively, since he isn’t working, dad could be a full-time parent. 😊

She literally said she doesn’t want his money. She wants his support because she can’t make enough money to support the children on her own if she has to be home for them, after school and before school and doctors visits and soccer practice. She’s saying, if he refuses to work or can’t work, and the court is giving her custody because she’s the breadwinner and he can’t work, then he needs to pick up the slack and support her. Pick them up for soccer practice, pick them up after school, make sure they’re not home alone before she gets off work. That’s what she’s saying.

To think, now these kids are in their 30s. Wonder how they are today. I was a kid myself. Judge Judy has been doing this for a very long time.

First of all this should not be on here, or anywhere else. It's a painful, private thing, not entertainment for the masses. Second the parents ought to be ashamed of theirselves. They not only broke faith with each other and God by divorcing, but they brought 2 children into the world who they didn't want to take care of and responsibilty for. Children who aren't cared for and protected by their parents are laid bare for all kinds of pain and abuse. If you REALLY care about your children, don't do this to them!
