Love the way it looks but kinda wish that they kept the old V6 engine from the old 4Runner. The old V6 engine was smooth, reliable and most importantly it didn't feel stressed during acceleration or even normal driving. These new 4 cylinder engines just don't have that V6 power delivery despite what the power figures might tell.

That is correct that old V6 pulled better than what the numbers suggested I wish they at least used the TT V6 even if it's slightly more detuned it would be much smoother

It’s ok, but I just picked up a 95 Land Cruiser 80 yesterday, and plan to keep it and my 97 4Runner Limited and 2022 4Runner TRD Off Road with KDSS for the next 30 years

I like most average people wouldn't be able to afford one of these brand new, but I think this is what people want. More narrow for easier driving, better fuel economy, lower price tag, hopefully it's the same reliability as the old land cruisers

The previous LCs were based off the LX570s, hence the price. I paid $57k for my new, nicely equipped GX460. This is slightly cheaper and will come with cloth seats before some decent equipment this will be near at 60k before ADM. this also tells me the GX550 will be in the low $70s.

I like it.. unless the 4 cylinder hybrid is loud / too much vibration…considering it for my next suv. I can’t get my gray color in the Lexus GX 550 off road version so will be interested to see the reviews before I potentially buy the Land Cruiser …also interested to see the new 4Runner… my 2015 4wd limited has literally been perfect with zero issues at 103,000 miles

Sadly after driving many new Lexus 4 cylinders, they seem to be very loud as they aren't using enough sound deadening materials in the engine bay for whatever reason. But def curious to still try this new LC and new GX

I really like this new Land Cruiser because my favorite all-time Land Cruiser is the 60/62 series And it resembles the 60/62 but it's modern and I actually like the turbo 4/ electric. And who better to do a hybrid SUV then Toyota they've only been building hybrids since 1997. I'm a big Toyota fan and I own a third gen 2018 that I just love and I will not be giving it up but I am thinking about adding the new Land Cruiser to the garage. Thank you 👍

for such a Car, I would say that the 3.4 L V6 with 300 HP + Mild Hybrid System and a 10 Speed Autom. Transm. would be really good for a long time reliability.

Official pricing has not been unveiled for the GX but the current one starts at $60k so the new 2024 GX will most likely start around $65k-$70k but I do think it is worth is for the TTV6 & looks

Currently not driving anything sold everything and paying for a monthly subscription plan so I can get cars to review on the channel. But if I had to buy a car right now it would absolutely be a 2023 Audi S8 would do a one pay lease for around $900 a month.

When the 4cylinder hybrid is the “durability” option, I have to laugh. And it makes me wonder what the designed life expectancy of the V6 twin turbo of the GX is like. As well as what was done in the name of durability to the hybrid drivetrain.

Both are wins imo it depends on your needs. Im so thankful toyota gave us these.

Yup I doubt we will get the big Cruiser since people in the States would rather just get the Lexus version for 5k more but for whatever reason, $70k-$100k pickup trucks are not an issue to sell. I guess it's wealthy contractors buying them for tax write off purposes

@@MeynMotorGroup See before the imports of your big utes we needed a vehicle to tow with so it was always either a big Cruiser or Nissan Patrol, whereas with your utes and Surburbans and the like you don't need a big Cruiser so I guess that's why they don't come to the states.

@@Excalabur50 oh I see yea we have Suburbans, Expeditions, etc and base versions of those can be had for less than $60k so great for towing and hauling people with hood resale value so if the car starts acting up, rich families were able to dump at the dealer and buy a new one

By the way, I share your opinion as well too regarding the looks. looking forward to how that 2.5L Turbo from Toyota will hold up over time. since 2020 automotive production rushing and forcing their manufactory workers to build Vehicles/assemblies fast. under pressure. so I personally do have concerns regarding quality-built vehicles. from 2020 -- 2024

My guess would be because that's terrible for gas mileage. I'm guessing they left the arches so large so you can put your own massive wheels on it yourself.

@@hamsterbrigadeyup, Toyota also is coming out with a slew of accessories so they’re ready to do some serious price gouging for things like wheels, tires, racks, etc. Quality has taken a dump for these new gen products I would rather get a 4Runner while they still make it
