I think the Royals probably came off best with the Japanese gifts. You do wonder what the gifts to Japan were don't you?. I love those screen paintings, gorgeously painted and put together. The armour, swords and bow are pretty cool as well. I've seen sets of them in the Museum of Scotland, they're all gorgeous objects, well made, built, importantly to last and sad to say are much better than anything coming out of the West. This would be a great exhibition to go to and just wander around with a camera and a sense of wonder.

lndians economy is so very smaII even less than china's reserves. if lndia's economy somehow ever surpass china's reserve they still need to grow another 6 more times to have the same china "2022" economy. and im not even talking about wealth yet, lndia needs to grow 20+ times to be the same as china right now. india could thank the british for that 200 years and 45 trillion dollar setback.
