EXID Hyerin or Hyelin is fixed and back up, there hasn't been much of a history of her dieting before EXID's "last" comeback. If they ever get back together its in the air. She's kept the weight off for about 2-3 years now and says she plans to eat better but she hasn't gained any wight in almost half a year since she said the diet made her feel weak and tired on the cultwo show.

One thing is to encourage healthy eating and another is exaggerating with diets (not eating anything 'unhealthy')which is what a lot of kpop idols do unkwowningly and they are shamed for loving normal food

@ASMRDIET from your point of view yes but keep in mind the thin obsessed culture Korea is and why you have idols like Hyuna, Jimin, IU etc. trying to drop weight even though they were pretty skinny in their natural weight. It's a tough crowd and the new pilates trend is crazy, literally everyone and their moms is doing it and the FOMO is really strong in Korea. Being skinny there is forever a trend. Plus, newfound way of fans+income with promoting this lifestyle..

She’s not smiling because she’s probably depressed. The interview with her ‘losing a lot of muscles’ and ‘an extreme diet’ are indicators that she might be or probably is struggling with an eating disorder or body image disorder. This kind of stuff often goes unchecked in kpop idols, especially the girls. I hope she gets some help or someone notices before there’s another suicide.

Hyelin has always been one of my favourite people in Kpop. She’s so funny, likeable, talented in singing and dancing, has a uniquely beautiful visual but is still underrated sadly. I really hope she’s happy because she makes so many fans happy just by being herself

Eating on camera doesn't say if someone is healthy since their is something like bulimia. And also weight doesn't say if your healthy necessarily. My friends is normal but more on the skinny side. And drinks soda for breakfast east a lot of junk food. So in the end we don't know if she is healthy or not.

she's really tiny actually and it depends on your body type (also height obv). some of my friends when they were in the 50 kg range they still looked chubbier than someone who's naturally always in that range.. but also, hyerin might have been dehydrated and she lost a lot of cheek fat in that clip so idk?? it depends on what you eat. sometimes you can gain weight and not be really chubby but kinda bloated which is what AMFG (uploader) often talks about. bloating is rapid weight gain so it's a little weird till your body gets used to it.

Hyelin probably is really tired and overworked. Back when they were peforming as 4 during Solji's hiatus, there was an interview wherein Hyelin was quiet and not as lively as her usual self. Jeonghwa, Hani and LE explained that Hyelin is very tired because she took over Solji's part for the meantime and had to double her efforts. Her tiredness my also be a result of her extreme diet. I don't think her thinnest figure was during the Up&Down era. Her thinnest figure began in late 2017 till now. But currently, Hyelin is becoming more and more active and lively, as seen on her videos in her KZbin channel and TikTok profile 😁 (P.S. Have you guys seen her recent IG post? She's stunningly beautiful and sexy 😁)

The pills Hyelin is taking are Orlistat, which blocks your body from absorbing fat and therefore calories after eating. They are VERY commonly abused, and that abuse takes a toll on your overall health because it also makes it more difficult to absorb nutrients from what you are eating as well. Hyelin was DEFINITELY stressed when Solji was absent and she had to cover her parts, she’s made that very clear in vlogs and live streams (along with the fact that she was never quite comfortable with sexy concepts). I also think EXID’s declining success after Solji’s absence weighed heavily on her conscience. Then the girls were forced to complete their Japanese promos even though they knew it was pointless and were simultaneously trying to figure out their futures. Hyelin is absolutely gorgeous, but she definitely seemed less happy and free-spirited in the final 2 or so years of EXID’s activities. I hope she can find a happy balance now whether that is in or out of the entertainment industry. She is such a gem. Beautiful, talented, great personality. But I don’t think people should be praising her body at any particular point since we don’t know how she was feeling behind the scenes at those times, and encouraging a certain weight with positive reinforcement if it wasn’t achieved healthily can be very dangerous.

So many wrong assumptions. Hyelin is the shortest of the group and she's also very insecure about her look and talent. When she debuted, she was wearing baggy clothes during I feel good, in order to cover her body. and during every night she was the only one wearing knee high boots in order to make her legs look slimmer. during the break she gained so much weight she barely fit her older clothes and the company wasn't buying new outfits. she was the least popular and people noticed very quickly her figure wasn't as slim as the others. however she diet very carefully and lost weight gradually. she never really smiled in the past, she always have a serious rest face. what I can see is that her cofidence rised so much since she lost weight and she let her hair grow. before she was always trying to hide, now she's shining.

Around the time of the Street album, she almost quit. Then she started getting more support from the fans. Haters used to call her " potato" but we turned it around. Now she's our little Sweet Potato. Learning that she could do so much while Solji was gone boosted her confidence, then Solji came back and gives her constant loving support. We were worried about her for a while, but she is fine now.
