@lifemetall don't forget the compression, you can't shred with dynamics getting in your way! I can't tell if you know that music as art is about expression, classical composers where expressing themselves in their music not bragging on how fast they could play or how much notes they could wrote. This song actually tells me more than all of yngwie malsteem's discography and is a really basic song on most things.

@loliH9 "same shit" is called refrain, other then that nothing is the same, rhythm is much more complicated since the songs are complex, till this day i re listen to some of the songs and find something new, like a riff or a solo part i haven't recognized before, so it's not really as you say....and why change perfection?

@lifemetall see, one thing is a refrain and another completely different thing is pulse guitar. I used to listen to power metal and shred for about a month or so, anyways i got bored because it's the same stuff, you know the "fight the dragon, pursue glory, ch3kk 0ut my 1337 guitar skillz, real men sing in soprano only" bullshit. It wouldn't take a genius to write classical pieces if shred is perfection.

@loliH9 well, "guitar fapping", how you called it, it s true art due it's complexity, compared to this, it actually takes practice, and a lot od practice, people that start playing guitar play lame rock songs, then go to exilia songs because it's easier to play, THEN they TRY to shred , most of em fail because their imagination cannot think of good notes sequence fast enough to call it shred, and those people make bands like exilia.
