Genius writing, as well as editing with the camera angles and shooting and radioing to dispatch lol. And it looks like you edited both troopers independent of each other and naturally add all the ambient noise and foley sounds in too. All of that and it comes off as minimalistic and natural feeling. Thats why I love you guys :P

It's kind of all over the place. He changed things a lot over the years. One version I heard is that Lucas' sequel trilogy would have gone into the Whills, which existed on a more microscopic level than Midichlorians, and were able to produce Midichlorians to influence the Force sensitivity of organic life-forms. But then the Force was something else that existed, and Midichlorians were just how living things interfaced with it. But there's all kinds of different versions of it out there, and some of those are probably just made up.

The original scene was among my favorite in Star Wars history. The humanization of Stormtroopers is something I’ve sought for a long time, from the clone troopers to Robot Chicken’s Gary. But your re-editing and recontextualizing of this scene, went further than I had ever hoped for my plastic clad warriors. Fantastic writing

For all we know, if Syntaxus tried to do the same, all of their attempts would fail That's also assuming they could even get that far in the attempt. The 1s and 0s that make up their "conscience/will" might force them to perceive the thought alone as too sickening to even consider But tbh, I don't know if I really buy into all of that stuff

Or... and this is way worse... it isn't so much that the simulation is fucked up, but that whatever designed and is running the simulation is so far beyond what humans can understand that it feels NOTHING for us. We are so small, our suffering so miniscule, that it can't even begin to see us as equals. Everybody wants to think God loves them, or hates them, or anything in between. What if the truth is that God doesn't even fucking think about us.

I feel like this is the flaw of like...every comedy show. Archer. Arby n the Chief. Even arguably South Park - where the episodic bite humor suddenly puts needless tension across entire seasons and the characeters and motive conflict with the fun stuff.

I like these two Troopers because their self aware of the fact that they are in a television show, which they are the losers. We get to watch them realize and have a conversation about the fact they're in a simulation they can't even shoot a simple can. It's not the fact they're lazy, it's the fact they can't shoot the target. Even if they do leave the baby behind, they will be killed. Either way by someone of the Mandalorian cast or by the empire for betraying their orders. This is why I like this particular episode.
