this was in austria. the guy who orignally uploaded this (the guy who rams the girl) had this to say Me crashing on an alpine coaster in Austria. Went to Insbruck hospital after as I did my back in. Things you missed in the video. 1) Your not allowed to stop on the slope for any reason 2) The father thought it was a good idea to stop on the slope 4 times 3) I had a massive queue of people behind me because of the plebs in front. 4) I had waited a year to do this slope, gave them plenty of time to get some distance, they where clearly waiting to annoy me. 5) It was a rage quit where the only way was down !! He was clearly using his kids as bate, they where collateral in his little games. On the way to the start we all shared the same gondola, I explained to him I had been waiting almost a year to do the slope. You can see him laughing as he gets the kid out of the coaster at the end. he thought the dad was purposefully annoying him so he thought ramming his daughter would teach him a lesson

Went to Insbruck hospital after as I did my back in. Things you missed in the video. 1) Your not allowed to stop on the slope for any reason 2) The father thought it was a good idea to stop on the slope 4 times 3) I had a massive queue of people behind me because of the plebs in front. 4) I had waited a year to do this slope, gave them plenty of time to get some distance, they where clearly waiting to annoy me. 5) It was a rage quit where the only way was down !! He was clearly using his kids as bate, they where collateral in his little games. On the way to the start we all shared the same gondola (a type of lift), I explained to him I had been waiting almost a year to do the slope. There are rules on the ride. He had plenty of time to stop before ramming into her. He was breaking the safety rules of the ride. He stopped completely. He didn't slow down on the clear yellow sings. He's an adult, he should know it can cause severe harm, and he can go on the ride again. It's like if you ram into someone's car on the road, but you want to go fast so you just ram into them with the knowledge that it could cause severe injuries. She even passed out, putting her in more danger during the curves where she could fall off or ram into someone else because she's not conscious to slow down, causing even more danger. Also, I don't think lightning would just target and destroy all of the sensors/lights. And even if one gets destroyed every month or two, that seems like a worthwhile investment to stop psychos like this guy from nearly murdering the rider ahead of him. The problem isn't that the setup can't be made, it's that it won't be made because it's a niche problem. Capital economics only solves problems that have lucrative solutions, and I don't think an "Alpine rail safety system" company would make it far, even though the solutions are simple as fuck. Also, there's another solution to not being killed. Don't let psychotic assholes onto the ride, or if you do give them enough free room ahead of them that they don't nearly murder a small girl.

It should be taken into consideration that this ride is fun for some people at a leisurely pace, whereas some people love the speed aspect. Even in the case of a more responsible speed enthusiast this type of collision could occur if someone is taking a more fearful or leisurely sightseeing approach. If someone comes blasting down a corner/hill with enough speed they couldn't stop it could be a real problem. This jackass nearly killed this poor girl.

Posted 10 years ago and I'm just now seeing this lol. Everybody's talking about the guy who filmed it but I am so mad at that poor girl's parents. They decided to make it a slow scenic ride instead of a thrill ride, and put their daughter in a car BEHIND them! They kept slowing down and even coming to full stops which clearly put their child in danger of getting rammed, which is exactly what happened. She could have had her neck broken & been paralyzed for life because of their stupidity & thoughtlessness. There are crazy people in this world, and part of your job as a parent is to do your best to protect your children from crazies. You don't place them in a position to physically shield you from people you enrage with your actions. If they just had to stop multiple times and create dangerous situations, they should have--at the very least--put their child in between them.

Especially if you have to ignore multiple signs warning you to stop, screaming and hollering and cussiner her out for going “too slow”. She was slowing down on bends so she wouldnt go so fast that she would fly off. Nothing he did was right- he ignored multiple signs saying to slow down, he stopped completely and then made sure to not brake on the corners so he would hit her as hard as he could out of spite bc ‘he can’t go as fast as he wanted’. Go-karting and bumper cars are more suited, but with the amount of anger this man showed after something as simple as some people just going a lil ‘too slow’ and following the rules, he busted a poor girl’s spine. Had she been sat differently, or been sat up straight, she could have died. She was a little girl and he was a grown man with very serious anger issues.
