for those that don't know the cover that the male wore is part of Sikh religion the tenth guru gobind singh ji used to wear that cover called "kalgi" but just not as long and he is also known as kalgidhar patshah so this tradition began after him

People need to relax, I went to a punjabi sikh wedding recently, and there were so many mixed/different race couples, whether the punjabi guy or girl was married to another from a different culture. You can still learn to keep tradition preserved, even if you don't carry on some preconceived notion of a bloodline, geez.
