Actually in the original song Kai led the first chorus with his falsetto (suho mentioned this), so technically 6 of them sung the high notes. too bad he's in the military now and couldnt join the promotions

So I will give you a bit more info on the group so you're caught up. This group debuted in 2012 with Mama as their debut MV and slightly before that were two pre-debut songs, History and What is Love (not featured here). The group was originally 12 members, however 3 members left and since then EXO has been a 9 member group. Seven members are here and 2 are missing. Members and Positions left to right: Chanyeol: MAIN RAPPER (also singer, guitarist, pianist, drummer, dj, producer, composer, lyricist, actor, cover song king, member of sub unit EXO-SC) D.O.: MAIN VOCAL (also beatbox, rapper sometimes, very successful actor, lyricist, solo artist with 2 albums under his belt, cover song king, now CEO of his own agency) Suho: LEADER, ALL ROUNDER (meaning he can do a little bit of everything, though mostly lead vocal, actor both on screen and on stage) Chen: MAIN VOCAL (member of sub unit EXO-CBX, pianist, solo artist with 4 albums under his belt, OST king, cover song king, composer/lyricist) Xiumin: ALL ROUNDER ( so vocal, rapper, dancer, actor, member of sub unit EXO-CBX, solo artist with 1 album under his belt) Baekhyun: MAIN VOCAL (pianist, rapper sometimes, great dancer, actor, OST King, lyricist, member of sub unit EXO-CBX, solo artist with 4 albums under his belt, member and leader of super group SuperM, now CEO of his own entertainment agency) Sehun: MAIN VOCAL (also lead dancer, vocal, actor, lyricist, member of sub unit EXO-SC, choreographer) MISSING MEMBERS : Kai: MAIN DANCER/CENTER/FACE OF EXO (vocal, rapper, actor, solo artist with 3 albums under his belt, member of super group SuperM - also main dancer there) ** currently as of this killing voice release is serving his mandatory military service. Lay: ALL ROUNDER (lead dancer, vocal, rapper, actor, solo artist with 6 or 7 albums under his belt, Composer, Lyricist, producer, CEO of his own entertainment agency in china, Chinese youth Ambassador, guitarist, pianist, also plays a number of chinese instruments.) ***currently unable to promote with EXO due to tensions between the two countries so he has remained in China to work on his solo career. He technically left SM entertainment, however is still a member of EXO.

ExO just started enlisting 2019 probably why you didnt see them often. And they dont just release songs just to be promoted all year. THEY ARE KOREA'S NATIONAL PICK. EXO Is very diverse: actor, models, ost singers, variety household names, theater actors. They didnt promote in western much but are 1st ambassadors of variety of luxury brands. For 2022 they are still the richest kpop group since their last album in 2020 with no promotion. This is what real kpop sounds that uniquely distinguishes kpop from other country's style of music.

I'd like to point out the members Left to right: Chanyeol: Main Rapper, solid vocalist too D.O/Kyungsoo: One of the main vocalists, Does the more complex runs of their songs Suho: Leader and lead vocalist Chen: Main vocalist and hits crazy high notes. Xiumin: Good at all three, dance, singing and rap. Hes the oldest. Baekhyun: Another main vocalist, I personally really like his tone Sehun: Lead Rapper and youngest. There are more members of EXO who are either in military (Kai), are in the group but on hiatus or inactive (Lay, Chinese member, no longer part of EXO's label SM Entertainment, however). There were some former members of EXO too, all Chinese, who left the group (Kris, Luhan and Tao)

Ist comment! Well our EXO have been around since 2012. They are a Korean-Chinese group so they promote mainly in Asia. They started of as 12 members but 3 chinese members left coz their company does not treat them right till this day.And they became 9 members. The last remaining Chinese member Lay is a huge solo artist in China and Korea and China don't have the best relationship so he can't perform with his brothers. As it is in this killing voice, they are 7 coz Kai is doing his military service. The maknae Sehun is the only one left to complete his service. So we have to wait another 2 years until they are fully complete. They were the first million sellers way back in 2013. They made selling millions a thing which it is now in kpop. They are known as the vocal kings of kpop. Few can match their live singing. They hold the record for selling concert tickets in 0.02seconds. They used to come out with three albums a year-main, repackage and winter album until 2018. This is the time they started going for military service. They have been on hiatus for 4 years as a group and working on their solos. Please check them out. They have also been fighting with their company.(who makes the devil seem like a Saint. Everyone in EXO can sing, even the rappers. The rapper/singer Chanyeol(striped top) is also a multi-instrumentalist, producer, actor, songwriter, artist, model. The entire group is filled with so much talent in all the arts, even theater. The Vocal Kings are truly talented and they shine solo or as a unit. in the song cream soda, the chorus is sung by 5 members, those high notes hit five, they just didn’t sing the whole song. There’s also D.O and Xiumin, they also hit high notes. Even the rappers sing well. So everyone in EXO is the best.

Vocals galore!!! I really don't know what's w/ EXO but they sound better live. Such artistry of this iconic idol group whose career spanned 11 years, in roller coaster ride, & is still going very very strong. 11 years & nothing has changed. This is a multi-talented group, so versatile that singers can rap, rappers can sing & all members can dance impeccably. They have covered almost all genres (as showcased here) & so diverse, each member has diff. sound & range but when they blend it's perfect.
