I can understand how you cannot relate Sehun being shy. But being the youngest he is an extremely shy and cute person among the members. That was infact because he was practically raised by the members (almost 10 years now which i think any Exo-L from the beginning would know) ) and he is loved by all his hyungs(members). He is also immensely thankful to all his brothers which is why he was a little shy in the beginning. But now he has more exposure to solo activities and series so i guess he has somewhat became mature person. Even his members also commented that Sehun nowadays behaves like an old guy(lol).

There’s actually a new guide, it was uploaded last 2 days ago. Sehun is also a songwriter, a successful model and known as Louis Vuitton Boy, he’s a successful actor too having dramas and movies in China and Korea, aside from it he’s an angel sent from above - he’s been doing charity events for years and was only revealed after one of the staff (of chosen charity) posted about it. He is the hidden member of exo. As you can notice he has the shortest lines in their songs, and sometimes he didn't have any lines. SM (the company where exo belongs) sees him as a visual who can gather a lot of fans since he has strongest fandom in China, SM didn't see his talent the way his members and us exols see. There are a lot of comments here trying to explain Sehun’s personality, the truth is that he is both. As commented in some of them yes, he is shy, but only when he’s in a new environment and with new people, he usually tends to listen more than talking (as normal people used to be in similar situations) Yes, he has strong visuals, he looks confident because he actually is! His stage presence is always strong and professional, he knows his work and is really good at it. He said before that if he wasn’t part of exo, he would’ve been part of the media anyways, so that makes his work perfect for him. He knows how to develop in this industry. Sehun said before too that he tends to stay silent when he’s making a project and then give us the whole thing without a doubt. He’s truly a man and a business man. But, when he is in a comfort environment such as exo, he is so relaxed and comfortable that his baby side comes out. You truly don’t know but he’s literally a baby, and that’s his nature, there’s nothing forced on him, everything he shows is what he is. It might be confused because he has such different sides and vibes but it is not that hard to understand, all of us have different sides of our personalities that we show depending on the situations and the people that are around us. He’s so sincere with us... I hope the feeling of confusion about him you have can change with time!

When it comes to Sehun I have to say that at the begining when I got into EXO(2017) I didn't pay too much attention to him because he didn't have many lines and he looked cold, but after I watched a guide to him from Mouma-k channel I absolutely fall for him because I saw a side of him which I didn't know before, so step by step I started to like him more. Sehun in my opinion is this kind of person who can control his emotions on the stage or in public, but only few people know what is inside(his hyungs and few fans which communicate more). What I like about him is his personality, he always say what he likes or doesn't like which I appreciate, he loves animals and kids a lot, often you can see him to orphanage doing volunteering. For his birthday he received a whale and his face was on airplanes in Korea, buses, In France fans opened a caffee with his face everywhere, you can check om KZbin, chinse fans have a huge base and they really did a huge global project to show how much they love him. I'm glad that Sehun and Chanyeol are together in EXO-SC!
