What you heard is absolutely an added sound effect. SM used to do it ALL THE TIME in music videos. It's not in the studio version of the track lmfao. And yes, absolutely a legendary song and MV. The whole Growl Repackage album is full of bangers. Actually when they did the transition, they didn’t run to the other side. Exo was a lot bigger back then, they had 12 members and were divided into 2 subunits exo-m and exo-k, each comprising of 6 members. But they usually do their mvs together as one big group

It was ONE SHOT and it's part of the choreo to keep snatching the cap from one another but at the last part of the video Kai's cap accidentally fell and he picked it up real quick and flawlessly cause he couldn't ruin the video or else they would start filming again from the beginning.
