Chanyeol has many tattoos in the left arm: a monkey, a guitar sketch ( I think it suppose to be that), the L-1485, an arrow. And "LOEY" in the the inside of his middle finger of his right hand. Chanyeol is Sehun's first rap instructor. Sehun was taken as trainee first as a visual and dancer second, that's why he didn't have many parts in the beginning. Chanyeol started teaching him rap and then Chanyeol's rap instructor MQ started teaching Sehun as well. Even the subunit EXO-SC was something Chanyeol fighted for in order to showcase Sehun's talents. That's why he tend to guide Sehun in each recording being EXO or EXO-SC. He is also the main producer for EXO-SC. Sehun obviously feel more confident when Chanyeol is around to guide him. ( a cute anecdote is that Chanyeol used to take Sehun to and from School when they were trainnees. Chanyeol adopted Sehun as a young brother in his heart 😊) Also Chen and Chanyeol are the 2 that stay far from the microphones because they have really big voice projection.

Baekhyun introduced EXO-SC to his vocal coach so they all learn from the same trainer! Sehun has really improved and sings more these days. I think he was intimidated being the youngest in a group with those kinds of vocalists. Sehun always helped harmonize the base notes with his deep voice though. Sehun is truly the 막내 on top. All the members adore him and he gets away with being the spoiled brat that he is. Kyung Soo has a very soft spot for Sehun unlike the other members who usually get hit by him. Kyung Soo is part of the 막내 line being the third youngest. Technically though, he's the same age as the '92 members and usually is lumped into that bunch.

i love seeing how they record. i've seen some artists' recording behind the scenes before but i think EXO really shows their experience & them being perfectionists. the way the correct themselves even before the producers do. even suggesting what sounds better. their hardwork really shows on the music they put out. that's why their producers love working w/ them. not sure about how long do they allow each member for recording. they usually schedule w/c member comes 1st-last. it probably depends on each members schedules too since they do solo activities too. i think most of the time the main vocalists takes more time as you can see they're the ones who are more particular & specific. & they do backup vocals sometimes too. so if that takes time, the next one might be waiting for them to finish.

It truly is rare to have so much behind-the-scene content for EXO. Actually its rare to get any EXO content by SM. Kyung Soo has the most agile voice in k-pop. He used to start most songs and be featured more during the earlier years but then he became a serious actor with less spare time. And per usual, looking unbothered and sits during his recording unlike the others. 😂

Chanyeol has his own production company and he and Sehun are in EXo-Sc sub-unit, they wrote and produced a lot of their songs together. Chanyeol also has participated in writing/composing a lot of Exo hits, along with Lay. Chen and Baekhyun have also written some for Exo. In hear me out recording you can see Chanyeol direct Sehun, but you also hear him providing feedback to Baekhyun. Baekhyun we can hear him directing/providing feedback for most members in this session listen carefully you will hear him for Chen, Xiumin, and Chanyeol for Kai I believe. We also hear a bit of Suho and Chen providing feedback. For Cream Soda it seems only Chen and Xiu working together and Chanyeol for Sehun, exo -Ls correct me if im wrong 😊

Kai was sick at that time, he even had to go to a hospital. In general kpop favors tenors so baritones like Chanyeol, Kai and Sehun are utilized mostly as rappers. And to be considered a vocalist you have to shift your register... I actually don't like it when Kai takes high notes. His speaking register is very low, and higher notes can damage his beautiful voice tone, it's too unique and needs to be saved. Mostly the rappers are used as an underlayer to a tenor. My favorite combinations are Sehun+Chen and Baekhyun+Kai. This way the high and clear note becomes deeper and warmer, multidimensional and layered. All members can sing and constantly expand their abilities, that's why EXO can create numerous variations of vocals and suit any genre, create different effects and get different kind of emotional response from the listener. Multilayerdness is their key characteristic in vocals and music.

@@katiagaonaaa oh, you'll be stunned! He's a true visionary who sets trend for years ahead. His artistic sense is unrivaled, in kpop for sure. And he makes my favorite kind of music. And I actually like soothing calming baritones more than tenors, high notes make me startled sometimes 😅 Kai and Baekhuyn are my favorite soloists, for the sexy RnB music and Kai for the voice tone, Baek for the emotions he can convey in just 1 note, one of a kind vocalist. But DO and Chen are also top notch, they just don't touch my soul as deeply as the first two. I hope you'll soon react to their individual guides (by Cesar Oh are the fullest of information but a bit outdated). Love your EXO reactions!❤

@@manchegobabi did I use the word Hate? Did I say I hate his high notes? Or I said that it's bad for his voice as he's clearly a baritone not a tenor? My ult artist is Kai and I would never write anything bad about his voice. I love it too much for him to damage it with falsetto. If you don't know that singing in the wrong register can forever ruin a voice and that kpop doesn't care about it, they like only tenors and don't have any other roles for baritones than rappers.. Shoot! I had to re-write my whole previous comment just because you can't read and understand clearly what I had said.... Read better.
