@@luzledoi think you have a misconception… D.O is very popular, people do look at him 😂 his fancams from all the Cream Soda performances have the highest views among all the members… and I have seen many yt reactors always notice D.O for his voice and his performance style, because it’s so unique and unlike any other idol.. also anytime he posts anything or says anything in an interview it usually goes viral on twitter worldwide or on south korean social media 😂 also the fact that he is the lead of such big budget blockbuster movie The Moon is a testament to how popular he is… and despite not promoting his solo works and not doing any music shows etc, That’s Okay and Empathy album was a huge success and was mentioned more than 100x by different idols and celebrities, even until this year idols keep mentioning his songs on social media or interviews. I’m sure we can expect the same for his upcoming album

I can truly say I don't really notice who gets how many lines in any group I listen to but especially with EXO. I just get too swept up in how good the songs are and how beautifully their vocals blend together in all of their songs especially their amazing b-sides. Never thought about how many lines Kai has. I just know he fits in EXO perfectly. EXO wouldn't be the incredible group that they are if any of the current members left permanently

Even though every member is multi-talented, it's their voices that's truly loved. Kai might not get a lot of lines but they use his voice as a texture, it's sensual, when harmonized with others especially D.O. (They have R&B tones) it's heaven. Love on all of them, no one will disappoint you. That 'EXO - Obsession' MV popped up y'all not ready for X-EXO... especially Kai acting up. Yes, exactly. Many people don’t realize that singing as a group is very different from singing as a solo artist. A big group such as Exo is like a choir, they each have assigned parts and it’s carefully picked to produce the best sound for the song or the vibe. If every single member sang all out showing off on each track, the song would sound crazy busy and noisy. And a lot of casual listeners will only pay attention to high notes or aggressive raps, but Exo is so much more than that. Their versatility, wide range from low to high, the uniqueness of each voice and the ability to harmonize together, and the ability to change up their sound is what made them successful year after year after year.
