EXO has 2 Main rappers: Chanyeol and Sehun And I know exactly what you mean by Chanyeol having like a "typical" rapping tone. He's still a unique rapper but his tone is the more rough, husky, deep tone which is often the case with rappers in Kpop, but Chanyeol still stands out with his uniqueness. And Sehun is just a very different rapper. He really has got a very unique tone that I can't find in any other rapper. It's just very different. Both of them are essential for EXO songs and I love how their tones are very different but they can adjust to each other like in Monster. Some people even think that it's only one person rapping in Monster because they are such a great team. And have a subunit together ^^

exo debut song, Mama is the most epic debut song in the whole industry imo lmao its just full of raps vocals and dance moves. the concept might be unusual and strange for someone who dont know anything about exo's concept but trust me it will grow in you real quick! also same goes to Wolf, Growl and Overdose. these songs are mostly old kpop style like you just said how kpop music work back then so it kinda different than the exo's stuff that you have already checked out. but i promise, THE VOCALS HAHA GOODLUCK

Their music videos are very interesting. Every mv have like its own concept but when you put all the mvs together it will make a storyline. Their concet as aliens are always involved at their mvs. Their logo also changes every comeback. They have like their own world wherein everything about them, their concept, their mvs, their costume, their prrformances, their concert, their concert and album names even their solo activities are involved. Fans are also involved at their worldview. Many of fans make theories that connects everything about them. It is just everything about them are connected but at the same time different and mindblowing. :))

Cherri you definitely need to react 2nd gen groups because 2nd gen hit sooo different actually gold era of kpop example 2ne1, snsd(aka girls generation),T-ara(t-ara 2nd gen and 3rd gen at the same time because they got two music style 1-soo soo oldy vibe and 2-not oldy but little bit powerful than 1 and vısually very nice and t-ara's dramas so powerful and yeah but be careful t-ara sometimes can dangerously sexy so be careful before to react them), 4-minute also so powerful
