Hi! Right now, 1 EXO member has been promoting in China as a solo artist since around 2016, but he may be promoting with the group again next year or maybe when all the Korean members finish the service. 3 EXO members are in military service, Xiumin (who is the oldest, leaves the army in December), DO (he is the third youngest of the group and he still did not have to go, but it was by his own decision, he leaves in January 2021) and Suho (the leader of the group, he left in May and leaves in February 2022), at the end of this year or next year, due to age, Baekhyun, Chen (Chen will go last because in April he was a father) and Chanyeol. Then Kai and Sehun would leave. Anyway there is a lot of material if you want to see, videos before Obsession, recently Lay released an album called LIT, Baekhyun also released his mini album DELIGHT, Suho debuted with his mini album SELF PORTRAIT and sub unit EXO SCa released their first album called 1 BILLION VIEWS

Okey, so the guy with the crop top in this mv is Kai, the same guy that is wearing the red suit and killing everyone in 'Love Shot', he is the main dancer, center, vocalist and also a rapper. 94 liner, second youngest btw😂(he is also in the group SuperM) -The guy that is wearing a red suit, sings in the bridge and is shirtless at the end of the mv is Suho, the leader of the group and one of the vocalist. He just went to the military a few months ago😢. '91 liner -The guy with the curly black hair/ the blue eyes red outfit in his dark version is Chen 😂, one of the main vocalist in EXO (he is the absolute king of high notes) he is currently married and just had a baby girl 😭😍.'92 liner -The guy with white hair is Baekhyun, one of the main vocalist (his voice is just freaking amazing). He debuted as a solo artist not long ago, you should check out his singles cause they're *chef kiss*. He is a '92 liner (he is also the leader of the group SuperM) -The rapper with the pink hair is Chanyeol, the main rapper of the group and also a vocalist and a producer (this boy is hella talented, he can do everything😂). He was the rapper wearing kinda like a brownish suit in 'Love Shot' that u liked. '92 liner -The rapper with the black hair is Sehun, the baby of the group🥺 and also one of the main dancers (he's reeeaally good) and one of the rappers. Chanyeol and him have a sub-unit,' EXO-SC', they released new singles a few weeks ago😍. '94 liner So as many other people in the comments said, there are 6 members out of 9 in this mv. That's because Xiumin (the oldest member and one of the vocalists) and D.O (one of the main vocalists) are currently in the military along with Suho that just entered this year. Also Lay (the only Chinese member in the group, and one of the main dancers) hasn't been able to participate with Exo properly since 2017 due to political conflicts between China and Korea😢.

They still a group and even they're working their own stuffs right now but they were still one. True others were on the military service now since it's part of their tradition but they will be back as a group and as EXOL were waiting for them patiently. As you may know the current six members Suho, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, Kai and Sehun have made a group comeback before their leader Suho had to enlist which was July 14th 2020 following Baekhyun, Chen and Chanyeol enlistments sometime next year. That will leave the two youngest members Kai & Sehun to work on duo and solo projects on top of kai being part of SuperM unless they decide to enlist early like their group member D.O did beginning of 2019. *My biases are Kai, Baekhyun, Lay and Sehun but I love & support the whole group.* The more I watch it, the concept and lyrics gives me lotto and monster era feels about a "Man's obsession with his lover" but in reverse especially in the beginning when the voice echo says "Oh I want you". After listening to the digital album, I was obsessed with it before it even came out and I couldn't wait; it's the title track of EXO's 6th album with the same name ‘OBSESSION’. This song brings trap bass blend with synthwave and jazzy accapella influences similar to their 2018 track "Tempo" with a vocal refrain running throughout the song. Lyric-wise it comes as a warning toward an ex-lover or friend, corrupt media, especially SAESANGS and ANTIs to stay away avoiding entitlement which is a constant issue among the kpop community. EXO’s concept is they are Aliens from an EXO planet, their planet got destroyed and they came to earth, they all have powers (like wind, light, water, ice, fire, unicorn) and EXO’s anemy Red Force wants to steal it. They live in parallel universes but get together during ab eclipse. Their MVs are interconnected. EXO’s currently in Military hiatus stage. South Korean men of age 29 or 30 will be required to serve the military for around 2 years. 3 members who have enlisted: - Xiumin (the oldest who enlisted first last May of 2019) - D.O. (one of the younger members who voluntarily enlisted last July this year) - Suho (the leader who enlisted last May this year) Another member whose not with EXO right now is Lay (Zhang Yixing) who is doing his solo activities in China. Due to political conflicts between Korea & China, he weren’t able to participate since 2017. Although he did a cameo on EXO’s Tempo MV and sang parts in the Chinese version. The members who might enlist next are Baekhyun, Chen, and Chanyeol who are all born in 1992. Last members that will enlist are Kai then Sehun who are born in 1994. The members who are not enlisting yet will focus on their individual or subgroup careers. The Military hiatus will end on 2025 and it will be a grand comeback for EXO.

Since 3 of EXO’s members are serving in military right now, they’re focusing more on solo activities and subgroup activities such as EXO-SC (Sehun&Chanyeol). 1 of their member - Lay, the only chinese member is in China and been inactive with the group because of the political issue between China and South Korea, since he’s an ambassador in China, SM entertainment gave him his own studio and focused on solo activities. Hoping that he’ll comeback soon now that the korean ban is gradually being lifted in China. About Super M, SM ent made a project to create a group with members coming from different groups under SM, the reason why Kai and Baekhyun was there. You like Chen, the one with highnote, haha, he’s married now and has a beautiful princess. We support him all the way. The crop top guy is Kai. Thank you for reacting to EXO. Since 3 members are enlisted in the military and 1 member is in China, EXO members has been focusing on solo careers this year. You can check out Lay's Sheep, Honey, Namanana, Give me a Chance, and his most recent release Lit. He is the only Chinese member and due to political reasons he isn't able to promote with EXO. Throughout the years he has produced and released many songs as a soloist. For Baekhyun, you can check out UN Village (title song of mini album City Light) and Candy (title song of mini album Delight). He is Korea's first million seller soloist and I'm pretty sure you will like his songs! EXO's leader Suho also has released a mini album Self Portrait before he enlisted this year.The title song is Let's Love and hope you guys can check it out as well! Chen has released two mini albums last year, Dear My Dear and April and a Flower. EXO also has two subunits, EXO-CBX and EXO-SC. You can check out CBX (Chen, Beakhyun, Xiumin) Hey Mama, Blooming Day, and many many more. SC is consisted of EXO's rappers Sehun and Chanyeol. Currently 4 members of EXO are in the military, and the others will follow to enlist soon according to their age. That;s why EXO is not promoting in groups after 2019 and doing only unit/solo activities. But, HAPPILY, Xiumin, the first one who enlisted is finally coming back next month.

I think even before all are done, they will have a comeback. I noticed SM artists usually do comebacks even though members are not complete as long as they a main vocalist. EXO are basically legends in KPOP. Originally 12 members but are now 9. The 3 Chinese members who left are KRIS WU, LUHAN, AND TAO. Side Note: ALL Chinese-past and present - are very famous in China. Don't know why I'm crying watching this, I came for the reaction but end up watching the MV, and my heart hurts. I MISS THEM SO MUCH, I miss their music cause they always give us 100% when it comes to their music, I miss their powerful stage, I miss their funny and dorky side on variety show, I miss everything about them being together. At first I thought it was fine, they are happy doing their individual schedule, but no, I miss seing them together so bad, and we all know that they miss us too, and it sad. No other group can ever replace EXO in my heart, they have such a special place for me. It's terrible because I'm afraid the company won't give them the same opportunities they got before, afraid that I will never see them on stage complete with nine members anymore. What you saw in the "Obsession" MV was that EXO's doppelgangers were actually their alter ego clones and they were using their superpowers, such as Chanyeol with his fire power, Sehun uses his wind power to deflect the arrows and Suho controls water in the room with all the pictures of water, etc. to fight their other selves. You see the planet on fire in the end of the MV because it's supposed to show how the world is coming to an end as EXO (the good guys in all black) and X-EXO (the evil ones in the colorful outfits with crazy hair and makeup) battle for control, etc. X-EXO has been created by the evil Red Force and EXO and X-EXO are battling for control. EXO are trying to prevent X-EXO from taking over and corrupting humanity and X-EXO are trying to stop EXO from finding the Tree of Life and putting the two halves back together and restoring peace, etc. Everything EXO is involved in, and I literally mean almost everything, is connected in some way to their concept and storyline. EXO's MVs are kind of like a movie -- it's a movie that has been going on for the past 8 years -- since predebut -- and it has no sign of coming to an end any time soon. The one thing you have to keep in mind with all of EXO's MVs, and I really mean all of them -- including their sub-sub-unit MVs and a majority of the member's solo MVs. And because Baekhyun and Kai are involved, even SuperM's storyline -- is that they are all connected and they all tell a little more of EXO's story and why they are on Earth, etc. To truly understand EXO you need to understand that EXO debuted in 2012. "Mama" is EXO's debut song and MV and It is how EXO was introduced to the world and it explains the group's concept. So to really understand EXO you need to start from the very beginning and watch both of their "Mama" MVs. From day one, EXO's concept is that they are aliens from planet Exo and they came to Earth with superpowers to protect the Tree of Life from the Red Forces. Each of the members has a superpower that is unique to them and almost every MV will have at least one, if not all of them, using their powers. Exo, as in exoskeleton, means "outer," so as a member of EXO they are outside the ordinary.The group's concept comes from the real term exoplanet, which is a term that is used for a planet that is outside our solar system, so their name was chosen to represent the fact that they are stars that are "out of this world" when it comes to their talents. EXO's concept is also connected to real life planetary and solar events, so several of EXO's comebacks and new song releases for the main group of EXO are timed to when eclipses and other planetary phenomenons take place. For example, their comeback for their War album and Power repackaged album coincided with when we had a solar eclipse, etc. SM Entertainment, and its founder, Lee SooMan, has all of EXO's release dates and concepts planned out for years in advance, and it often has something to do with real celestial events that are predicted to take place. Now you also need to know that In the beginning there was 12 members and they were split up into 2 groups EXO-K and EXO-M. EXO-K sang and performed their songs in Korean and EXO-M sang and performed those same songs in Mandarin Chinese. EXO-K had 6 Korean members and EXO-M had 4 Chinese members and 2 Korean members. So to really understand their full origin story you have to watch both the K and the M version of "Mama", because the EXO-K version focuses on the K members and their powers and the EXO- M version focuses on the M members and their powers. However, since then, 3 of the 4 Chinese members have left the group (short answer to focus on their solo work back in China) but there is still one Chinese member left, Lay. (Any performances or MVs you watch that took place prior to May 2014 you will see all 12 of the members. Kris and Luhan left in 2014 and Tao left in 2015.) However, now, because they no longer have enough Chinese members they no longer do separate promotions, but they still produce almost all of their MVs and main songs in both Korean and Mandarin they just now promote all as one big group EXO with 9 members. However, in the "Obsession" MV there are only 6 members -- Suho, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, Kai and Sehun -- because 2 of the members -- D.O. and Xiumin -- are on hiatus during this comeback as they serve in the military; and due to the political issues between the Korean and Chinese government, Lay -- their Chinese member -- was unable to participate in activities with the group. So each new MV or project from EXO tells another part of the story, and over the years we fans have started to create a timeline and idea of what we think each part of the story is telling us. However, the introduction of "Obsession's" part of the story really threw all of our theories for a loop and it has made us question everything we have ever thought was happening in EXO's storyline. Since "Obsession" some think maybe EXO has been trapped somewhere from the very beginning and it has been X-EXO that we have been following all along. But I think it's still even more complex than that. I think at times we have been watching EXO and at times we have been watching X-EXO, -- with the release of "Obsession" we have only just discovering that it hasn't necessarily been EXO the whole time. With the new information provided to us through "Obsession," it also makes me question how Lay fits within the X-EXO/EXO storyline. Maybe he is one of the members who has been able to break free or avoid the Red Forces' control. In Lay's solo MV for "Sheep," the Allen Walker relift version, we see everything burning outside the window as if an apocalypse is happening. Maybe "Sheep" is showing us the planet burning from Lay's viewpoint, like we see the world burning at the end of the "Obsession" MV. Also, I believe that the storyline in "Obsession" is connected to SuperM's "Jopping" storyline. If you have seen "Jopping," you may remember what Baekhyun and Kai were wearing in that MV. Those outfits are very similar to the black outfits that Baekhyun and Kai are wearing in "Obsession." Kai is even wearing the same backpack parachute in both MVs. Which seems to be SM Entertainment's way of making sure we see the connection between those MVs. So because the members in black are supposed to be the EXO members who are the good guys, it seems to also indicate that the members who are in SuperM are the EXO members and not their X-EXO clones. So it is thought that, as part of SuperM's storyline, EXO has gathered the best of the best of SM's groups to help them battle the Red Force and maybe eventually take down X-EXO. Just like how the Marvel Avengers come together as individual superheroes with their own storylines to create the Avengers and to fight evil, it is thought that SuperM is coming together to create the ultimate super group to help EXO fight the evil and corruption inflicted on humanity by the Red Force. Unfortunately,, to make it even more difficult to understand, each part of the story is not necessarily in chronological order, so we as EXO-L (EXO fans) have to become detectives and analyze every aspect of all of their teasers, MVs, song lyrics, albums, concert VCRs, choreography and even live performances and piece it all together to understand the story behind it all. To help you pinpoint the powers being used in their MVs and live performances here is a list of the members and what their special power is. EXO-K 💦 Suho (Kim JunMyeon) is the leader of the group and he is a lead vocalist -- his power is the ability to control water (Fun fact: Suho in Korean means guardian, as in the guardian of EXO. That's why as the leader of EXO, his stage name is Suho) 💡Baekhyun is a main vocalist and his superpower is the ability to control light 🔥Chanyeol is the main rapper and lead vocalist -- his power is the ability to control fire and his spirit animal is the phoenix. 🌏D.O. (Do KyungSoo) is a main vocalist and his power is the ability to control earth (dirt) which gives him strength/force ☄Kai (Kim JongIn) is a main dancer, lead vocalist and sub-rapper and his power is teleportation. (Kai means door or gateway, so his stage name symbolizes his role within EXO's storyline.) 🌪Sehun is the youngest member of the group and he is a lead rapper, lead dancer and a vocalist -- his power is the ability to control wind EXO-M ❄Xiumin (Kim MinSeok) is the oldest member of the group and he is a lead vocalist and lead rapper and his power is the ability to control snow/ice (frost) 🦄 Lay (Zhang Yixing) is the Chinese member of the group, he is a main dancer, lead vocalist and rapper -- his power is the ability to heal anything. 🌩 Chen (Kim JongDae) is a main vocalist and his power is the ability to control thunder/lightning/electricity (As you can see, Xiumin and Chen were given stage names that sounded more Chinese so they would fit in better in EXO-M because they are the Korean members of the Chinese unit) The Chinese members who have now left the group: 🐉 Kris was the leader of EXO-M he was a main rapper and vocalist -- his power was the ability to fly and his spirit animal was a dragon 💭 Luhan was a main vocalist and his power was telekinesis (The ability to control things with his mind) ⏰Tao (Z.
