Finally did a full listen and my. god. Forever's gotta be my #1 because the musicality with the chromatic scales is just _high level_. And Going Crazy is the runner-up b/c I don't think I've ever heard anyone actually use the bottom key of a piano before. Actually. Ever. :)

I love RnB slow songs so Exodus has that but unlike Exodus I actually now like every song on this album. I had to listen to Chill in my car before I liked it. I almost had to stop playing it on first listen. Now I really enjoy it. They are both great. I still play Exact in it's entirety because it was connecting with me. However, I do skip a couple of songs here and there. You know what only time will tell but The War might be my new fav.

Exodus was honestly such a monumental album for EXO like El Dorado and Exodus. But yeah EXACT was okay for me, but I loved The War it was absolutely amazing! Forever, The Eve, Chill, Walking on Memories just amazing. Exo evolved so much from 2012 to 2017 and I'm so proud of their growth and being an exo-L

I feel you on that twerking to "Forever". I don't know if this album beats EXODUS. Honestly, I think it ties with it. I know that my first reaction to EX'ACT wasn't as good as my first reaction to THE WAR is, so that's definitely something. Full album (not minis) order for me is probably THE WAR/EXODUS, EX'ACT, XOXO. My favorite tracks from this album are: 1. *What U Do?* (honestly, this should be their second title track. IT'S SO GOOD!!!! I mean "Love you right"? XD) 2. *Ko Ko Bop* (I love the chill vibe. Even the breakdown is chill to me) 3. *Forever* (this song is title track material tbh. The rap Chanyeol & Sehun did is _everything_! Would love to see a performance of this.) 4. *Diamond* (the chorus is so hypnotic to me, I luv ^_^) 5. *Going Crazy* (I like this track. I love the bits of EDM, gives it color. The song gives me HURT vibes) 6. *Touch It* (my 90s R&B jam, a nice classy sexy tune) 7. *Walk On Memories* (this song is so beautiful. I like the feeling I get when I listen to it. Reminds me of Cloud 9) 8. *Chill* (I love the song _now_, but I thought the WHOLE song would sound like the teaser =.=) 9. *The Eve* (I like this song, just not as much as the others. Plus, I think it's too short.)

Your comment about Forever really matched mine. It's my favorite song in the album. I absolutely love how unpredictable it is. I couldn't guess where it was going in the first listen. In the teaser I thought it sounded so theatrical almost like Overdose but then it took different form and morphed into this electro beats. And yes about Diamond. The shining shining part doesn't really fit in the whole atmosphere of the song. It feels like it simplifies the other glorious parts but not in a good catchy way. I love your reaction. It's so genuine and funny and relatable. 😍

I prayed for your neck but my own neck was in danger of falling off coz I just kept on nodding my head with all the comments you had for the songs and the entire album. I agree that it definitely beats EX'act in my books but I guess EXODUS just had more mid-tempo songs and ballads that I really, really love (Hard to beat El Dorado, What If, Promise, and My Answer). BUT since they released this with summer in specifically in mind, I'd say it's perfect. THE PRODUCTION IS AMAZING that at some parts, it's kinda hard to wrap my head around what's happening hahaha. And I love it because I was totally slayed in the way I didn't expect.

I was about to say that The War is better than EXODUS, but then El Dorado played at the end and I felt so guilty for thinking The War is better. I think she's right by saying that The War nearly dethroned EXODUS by a small touch. Even when you search "The best k-pop album of all time" on Google, EXODUS is the first to be shown.
