Chanyeol wrote Chill and gave us rapper Kyungsoo and Chen wrote Touch It, and they worked with Baekhyun to write Ko Ko Bop. This album was full of EXO's colour which is why there was a lot of styles and vibes. My absolute favourite with all the vocals, adlibs and rap.

Forever was confusing for me at first too. The lyrics really played a part in me liking the song. The lyrics are kinda like the song. At the beginning they're all cute about "you can be my only star" and by the end it's super creepy possessive kind of relationship about "how can u leave me we were meant to be forever" u should check it out

yes it is a Greek melody in ''diamond', I'm from Israel and we have looooooooot of inspiration and affectation in our music from there, and from all over the midle-sea countries, and that kind of melody sound exactly like the sounds I could of hear in every song here in Israel. and not only Greek but also little bit of Turkish melody... so beautiful. firstly, i love that you appreciate the west coast funk bass line in boomerang 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 it’s interesting what you think about the war vs exact tho bc i feel the exact opposite lol. i feel like the war is literally all over the place (electro, reggaeton, funk, r&b, hip hop in diamond and chill) and that’s why it’s good but not my favorite and exact is waaaay more cohesive sonically and musically and in terms of tone and pace, which is why i like it more. but i do agree that they are very different in terms of flow which is why fans are usually divided in which one they like best. can’t wait for you to react to cbx, especially blooming days. thanks for taking the time to share with us!

Jaime Midgyett I mentioned this but maybe I didn’t explain it well enough, I think the tracks themselves are kinda all over the place but vibe wise each song blends well one after the other .. they’re pretty ‘loud’ and ‘intense’ with the majority having an electronic driven chorus! Where as Ex’act had a much wider range of genres, each song was almost a completely different vibe! (Perfect for my eclectic ears) You’d go from Lotto to She’s dreaming then Artificial Love to Stronger! Each of those songs are for completely different moods whereas almost every single song on The War stayed consistent with the mood/vibe ! Well, for me at least! There were only 2 songs on The War I could chill and relax to whereas EX’ACT was a lot more varied! 💕

I warned you it has one of my favorite instrumentals, but I don't know if you saw it or saw it in time before listening to the album. I commented it on the Power MV reaction. I rethought what I thought your favorites would be when I was on my run yesterday, even though, I had already commented my thoughts on your community post, and I was then thought it would be Chill, Walk On Memories, and Diamond. The way I think of things sometimes though is like eliminating certain sounds for some reason. Like, I realized I'll choose one slower ballad-like song, one pop-y song, and one r&b type song or something like that, even though you could end up picking 3 that are closer in genre(s). I don't know why I do that. I think most people were certain about specific songs being your favorite because of all the sounds and randomness incorporated in this album. It's truly wild, as you say and put in the thumbnail! As you listen to the songs overtime, have any of your favorites changed from previous album first listens? Sometimes your eyes are looking around like, okay, where are we going next in this song?, haha! This made me so excited for you to watch their concert performances!!! wild is definitely a good way to describe this album ! none of the songs are what you expect them to be like you think they're gonna do one thing but then they do a complete 180 and go in the opposite direction and you almost feel like you can't keep up 😳 when the album first came out and i listened to it i honestly couldn't even tell if i liked it or not i just sat there in silence like 'what the fuck just happened ?' and i had to listen to it a couple more times to actually form my opinions haha

Loved your reaction as always Fifi! I remember being so confused when I first listened to Forever, but I really fell in love with it once I saw the stage perfomance of it during the Elyxion concert! The stage design, the props and the choreo really complements the song in my opinion. I hope you will react to it some day! Vanessa Qiu How lucky of you. Anyway, I'm from Malaysia. Singapore is just next to Malaysia but I didn't get to go to the concert. Exo is near but feels like so far away. I'm so sad. Hopefully one day I can go to their concert. Maybe OT9 reunion concert, who knows? I am totally in cloud nine if I ever give a chance to go to their concert especially OT9 concert cause I miss seeing lay with all of them. But, if 0T9 concert, we may need to wait until maybe 2025 after all of them finished their military service. Oh, I hope the OT9 concert will happen for real and I hope time will flies faster so that they all can be reunited again.
