I don't know why they don't like Wolf. Actually I like this so much. It show the ability of there main vocalist in terms of spring. The harmonies of thier voices. D.O, Baekhyun and Chen show how good they are. Specially the live stage performance of wolf was the most beautiful song i ever heard. They are really the kings of all kings. A fun fact about "Wolf" is that an early version of it leaked early waaay back when, and they actually pronounced the English lyrics (like "wolf" itself) more accurately than they do in the final version XD Yup the member giving you vibes is Kai The Chinese ver. actually has a different line distribution, I believe to give more to the EXO-M members, and so the choreo is actually a bit different too ;o And yes, of the four Chinese members, only Lay is still with the group

"Wolf" was EXO's first comeback since their debut promotions and it came out in May 2013 as part of their XOXO album. "Wolf" was another one of EXO's songs that the mainstream public thought SM was making an even bigger mistake with. It was a song and concept that was too unique for most mainstream listeners when it first came out, and most people didn't really like the song or the MV. However, as many have discovered, it's one of those songs that once you listen to it more, it grows on you, and now it has become much more popular. Although they look young, the oldest is 23 and the youngest is about 18/19. So they aren't that young. So what you see in their "Wolf" MV is that all 12 members come together to form the Tree of Life and in the middle of the song you see how they split up into EXO-K and EXO-M and each group creates their own tree. How I interpenetrate that is they are showing how the tree has now been split in half and each half of the tree represents the two halves of EXO. In the intro to "Mama" they talk about how the Tree of Life has been split in two and each half has been hidden away. It's EXO's job to find the two halves of the Tree of Life and reunite them to restore peace in the world. In "Wolf" the members are also supposed to be a wolf pack, so the entire MV and the song is them acting like wolves. The choreography was created to use movements that made them seem like wolves, and the moves, such as them showing their claws and bristling their backs and shaking are all things that wolves do as they compete for power and attention, etc.The wolf comes out of the forest (as he scratches the ground behind the Tree of Life) in the beginning of the MV and he is stalking his prey Their prey is the girl that, in the song, they are talking about being so obsessed with and in love with that they can't help but act like a wolf and capture her so that no one else can have her, etc. I'm not sure how this concept was supposed to fit into EXO's larger storyline, but many feel that after Kris, Luhan and Tao left the group that the wolf part of the story was completely dropped and it is no longer part of EXO's story. So we just watch it as a fun side story now instead. It is also often thought that the girl that EXO sings about in their songs is a manifestation of the heart of the Tree of Life. So, that is why EXO becomes so enamored by her and so possessive and protective of her, etc. Protecting the heart of the Tree of Life -- or the girl -- is what EXO has been sent to Earth to do. It's also worth checking out the lyrics to "Wolf." You might be surprised what the song is about. LOL The main point of the song is they are saying, I'm a wolf, I'm a wolf and I love you so fiercely that I am going to capture you and possess you and devour you like the wolf that I am. I never quite understood why in the studio recording/MV of the Mandarin version, why they left the Korean word for I love you -- saranghaeyo -- in the Mandarin song. Because, if you ever hear EXO-M perform "Wolf" live in China, they always change the lyrics to say Wǒ ài nǐ, which is I love you in Mandarin. And it doesn't sound strange or out of place, so why didn't they change it for the MV? If you are impressed with their vocals in the MV, just wait until you see the live concert remix performance of the song. You will be even more blown away when you hear what they can do live. "Growl" was the follow up song to "Wolf. "Growl" was the song that was the lead track on the XOXO repackaged album which came out in August 2013. Hated this song when it came out! It has grown on me since, and it's a classic...I love it now. Yes, there was the full group here, all 12 members. The current group is now officially 9 members which includes Lay, the last and only Chinese member... although he has been in China since 2016-2017. All members appear in the Korean and Chinese versions, they sing in each language. Yes, even as babies, they were scouted when they were still in school.. the powerhouse vocalists are Chen, Baekhyun and D.O., and yes they were singing like this even since grade school, and the main dancers, Kai, Lay and Sehun...the same. Chanyeol, Sehun, Kai and Xiumin (Shoo-min) are the key rappers, Chanyeol and Sehun being the lead rappers of Exo. I highly suggest you do individual guides to the current 9 members, the best guides to date are by Cesar Oh. You will learn faces to names and discover the many talents each individual possess, and their different vocal colors, that when combined, make that Exo sound. Exo are known as a vocal group more than anything, they are not fast rap, fast dance heavy like many of the younger groups out there today like Bts, Nct, Stray Kids and others, who do it so well. People go to Exo concerts to hear them sing. They are primarily r&b based, love songs, alot of pop, but do all genres at any given moment. It is a combined K+M song, just two different language versions and line distributions - except D.O, he gets to keep all his lines idk why but I'm not complaining! The blocking is also pretty mixed throughout - both times you thought they were in units, it was a mix of both. Total SM weirdness ho here so I love it. Actually, the Chinese MVs are still continuing until today, they are still doing their title tracks in Chinese. Even Obsession still has a Chinese version, but now they are just not doing the whole album in Chinese. I really like that they are still doing it although Chinese versions sadly don’t receive as much attention as the Korean ones I started really liking Wolf after the live perfromance, the vocals are just insane. The concert performances are amazing and leave me speechless honestly. I don’t listen to the original version but mostly to the remix from their live album For the guides, i know it might be burdensome for you, but im pretty sure ppl would recommend you CesarOh’s individual guides, they are 20~ min long each but these are easily THE BEST guides anybody has ever done for EXO. I am hoping you’ll be able to do those, especially it would be helpful in remembering their faces! Enjoy your EXO journey!

I don't like it the 1st I listened to it but WOLF REMIX live in EXO'RDIUM in Japan makes me love it more. The live vocals production, the stage the visuals are all 🔥 Yes, SM and EXO are so experimental when it comes to music, but you missed their 2 predebut songs-WHAT IS LOVE and HISTORY.
