There are different types of VCRs, some introducing the next song (see Peter Pan VCR) or telling a story (Exordium Intro VCR). But this one is unique because it kind of gave a continuity to the previous and next perf. The last perf was a solo by Tao and next to it was Kai’s - wherein Tao started the VCR and towards the end, they showed Kai changing and going up the stage. They also gave the fans a peek to what their backstage look like.

VCRs are videos that they play between sets at kpop concerts to give the members a break, to allow time for them to change clothes and to give them time to change the sets, etc. The VCRs often tell a story or do something that leads in to the next song or set of songs they are about to perform. So if you watched a video that had both the VCR and the concert performances you would have seen that the video would have led into them being on stage in those same outfits and they would start their next set of songs. Often the VCR will explain why they are dressed the way they are or what the theme of the next stage is or just tell a side story etc. They also often have VCRs that play before award show performances that tell a story such as EXO's beauty and beast VCR and Growl performance at the MAMA Awards in 2013 or their Peter Pan VCR and Peter Pan song performance at their concerts, etc. VCRs are a big deal in Kpop concerts and they are one of the aspects that makes Kpop concerts unique, because of the amount of detail and effort they put in to the videos. Most of the time the videos are like mini movies. That's why it takes months to prepare for a new concert because on top of everything else they have to do, like learn the performances, they also have to spend time filming multiple VCRs and everything you see on the screens on stage, etc.There is no dead air during a Kpop concert, there is always something happening on stage even when everyone is back stage that's why they are able to have concerts that last 4 hours because things like VCRs and solo performances allow the members to catch their breath in between sets.

nice meeting you auntie Pilbug!!!! There are actually a couple of Heart Attack vcrs. The other one with Luhan. Fetus exo featuring embryo NCT. VCRs give them break for custome change in their concerts. You can see more of cute vcrs including Peter Pan depending on the setlist that comes after. Sometimes it gives a hint of the theme that comes next or tells light stories about random exo stuff. It's a different vcr that is being played before the concert starts. For introductory vcrs in concerts they are usually deep and continuation of exo concept through the years.

Baekhyun is a baby beagle! Kai is the baby bear. 😆 There are actually multiple versions of this VCR. A couple of them still have Luhan in them too. Definitely watch the Peter Pan VCR. The official one from the DVD cuts out Tao, but you can find their version with Tao online. It’s super cute.

I love how this video Tao tries to be cool while he is at all a little child of mama suho lol. I miss him very much! And you can see both sides of Kai's personality - on the one hand he is a very cool and killing it, and a second later he becomes a little boy who embraces the helmet. the moved with the hair Sehun did when he appeared in the video - this is his famous gesture thing from that time period, when he had that haircut, in Call Baby Baby.

It's from their EXO'rdium DOT concert in the summer of 2017, a VCR clip filmed specially for EXO's 5th anniversary. Explaining finding Kai sleeping on the ramp at the end of the VCR: A little bit of why Jongin is a bear, is the legend that Jongin can fall sleep *anywhere* and sleep through *anything* like a hibernating bear^.^~ EXO says they'll often leave Jongin sleeping somewhere and come back hours later to him laying in the exact same position & as long as he has a comfortable pillow he can sleep anywhere!~~~ As for watching more VCRs, just watch the concert DVDs; all the VCRs for EXO's concerts set up the sections of the concert perfectly!!! lol Start with EXO Planet 1: The Lost Planet!~^.^
