IU is never shy, she is surely confident and mature from her debut time. When she participated Heroes (her first main-cast of a Tv show), she is so confident and mature (even comparing to other celeb 30s 40s, especially episode she interviewed big star Psy or when she must make eye contact with Changmin tvxq (other Heroes members are not good at doing these challenges like her). When she's 16 (just debut), she's actually close with many idols (both male and female idols) although she debuted from Leon entertainment (this company is new to the field of trainees, IU is the first trainee debut from Leon). Then she gradually developed her network and maintained good relationships with all colleagues in the kpop showbiz (singers, musicians, lyricists, actors, directors, film writers, music producers, artists making music in studio, etc) and there are so many big names she was close or collaborates from her debut time (Yoo Inna, Jiyeon Tara, Seulong and 2pm, Shinee, Psy, Sung Si Kyung, Yoo Seung Ho, Choi Baek Ho sunbaenim, Yoon Sang sunbaenim, Eana Kim, Kang Hanna, Lee Joon Gi, vv.) Therefore, she is excellent when she was young (she also said that when she was 5 years old winning in a speech contest, she knew that she will become a great person), or after her family faced up with finance problems, she showed her courage and initiative spirit when she participated in many auditions to become a singer herself. All of these proved that she was confident and mature when she was young, it's her gifted ability.
