Exo-K: Dominic, Kai, Sehun, Baekhyun, Suho, Chanyeol Exo-M: Luhan, Kris, Tao, Lay and Xiumin. Exo-M is indeed Mandarin! I’m pretty sure that they’re all 1 group now. But I’m pretty new to Exo so- Anyway! Luhan, Kris, and Tao are former members. Kris was the former leader but since his leave Suho is the new leader. I still love Kris, Luhan, and Tao’s solo music even if they aren’t in Exo, because. It’s great. They clip before they started rapping towards the end was small clips of the Exo-M members too The members in order from the clip: Lay, Kris, Chen, Luhan, Xiumin, Tao The current members of Exo are, Suho, Chanyeol, Xiumin, Chen, Baekhyun, D.O, Kai, Sehun and Yixing

EXO-K sang in Korean versions of the songs and had the members D.O., Baekhyun, Sehun, Suho, Kai and Chanyeol EXO-M sang the Chinese versions of the songs and had the members Chen, Xiumin, Lay, Kris, Luhan and Tao (last 3 left in that order). After Luhan and Kris left, their next album (EXODUS) they promoted under the name EXO and had a Chinese and Korean version, with the exo-k members singing the Korean studio versions of the songs, and the remaining exo-m members singing the Chinese studio versions of the songs. But then Tao left in 2015 from that point onwards they remained under the name EXO with all 9 featuring on both Korean and Chinese versions (I may not be 100% right but this is what I’ve picked up from becoming an EXO-L after kris, Tao and Luhan left)

I know I have commented this on Your previous EXO reactions but the way you talk about EXO makes me think you never saw my comment and you really have no idea how EXO works. I wish you would spend some more time getting to know EXO as a group, their concept and the members better so you would understand their songs and MVs better. Every one of EXO's MVs are connected and they all help to put together EXO' s origin story and explain the story behind everything that makes EXO, EXO. To truly understand EXO you need to understand that EXO debuted in 2012. "Mama" is EXO's debut song and MV. It is how EXO was introduced to the world and it explains the groups concept. "History" is EXOs second release and the MV continues to explain EXO's story. It shows EXO as they are learning to live life on Earth as a human and how they are adapting. From the very beginning EXO's concept is that they are aliens from planet EXO and they came to Earth with super powers to protect the Tree of Life from the Red Forces. Each of the members has a super power that is unique to them and almost every MV will have at least one if not all of them using their powers. Exo, as in exoskeleton, means "outer," so as a member of EXO they are outside the ordinary.The group's concept comes from the real term exoplanet, which is a term that is used for a planet that is outside our solar system, so their name was chosen to represent the fact that they are stars that are "out of this world" when it comes to their talents. EXO's concept is also connected to real life planetary and solar events so all of EXO's comebacks and new song releases for the main group of EXO are all connected to when eclipses and other planetary phenomenons take place. For example, their comeback for their "War" album and "Power" album coincided with when we had a solar eclipse, etc. SM has all their release dates and concepts planned out for years and it all has something to do with celestial events that are predicted to take place. Now you also need to know that In the beginning there was 12 members and they were split up into 2 groups EXO-K and EXO-M. EXO-K sang and performed their songs in Korean and EXO-M sang and performed those same songs in Mandarin Chinese. EXO-K had 6 Korean members and EXO-M had 4 Chinese members and 2 Korean members. So to begin to understand what is happening in the MV you need to watch both the EXO-K and EXO-M versions of this song because the K version tells the story of the K members and their powers and the M version focuses on the M members and the role they play, etc. Plus, this is a good opportunity for you to hear what the song sounds like in both Mandarin and Korean. (I encourage everyone to watch the EXO-M's version of their songs as well, espeically any of their performances that are from 2014 or older because this was before any of the members left and the fact that the groups were divided up played a very important part in all the stories they told in their songs and MVs. I think now that you know a little more about what EXO is all about, you will probably start to understand more of why EXO does the things they do and what makes them so special.) However, since then 3 of the 4 Chinese members have left the group (short answer to focus on their solo work back in China) but there is still one Chinese member left, Lay. (Any performances or MVs you watch that took place prior to May 2014 you will see all 12 of the members. Kris and Luhan left in 2014 and Tao left in 2015.) However, now, because they no longer have enough Chinese members they no longer do separate promotions where the group is split up, but they still produce all their songs in both Korean and Mandarin they just now promote all as one big group EXO with 9 members. So not only does EXO have amazing MVs but its always double because any time they have a Korean version they also will have a Mandarin version so it means they have to shoot two separate videos. To help you recognize the members powers when they are used in their MVs: EXO-K Suho : water (Fun fact: did you know that Suho in Korean means guardian, as in the guardian of EXO,? That's why as the leader of EXO, Kim Jun Myeo's stage name is Suho) Baekhyun : Light Chanyeol : fire D.O : earth (dirt) which gives him strength Kai : teleportation Sehun : Wind EXO-M Xiumin : snow/ice (frost) Lay : healing Chen : thunder/lightning/electricity (As you can see, Xiumin and Chen were given stage names that sounded more Chinese so they would fit in better in EXO-M) The Chinese members that are no longer part of the group: Kris: Flight (He was the leader of EXO-M when the group was split up into K and M) Luhan: telekinesis (control things with his mind) Tao: Controlling time

I love watching your EXO reactions because EXO is my favorite, but also your always praising them and so into it no matter what the song/video! EXO was split into two subgroups when they debuted. EXO-K (Korean) and EXO-M (Mandarin). When three of the four Chinese members left only one Chinese member and two Korean members of EXO-M remained, so they came together as one. OH MY GOSH YOU HAVE TO REACT TO PROMISE! Oh my gosh, I loved that song before, but when I looked up the lyrics and the actual title (because it just says 약속 EXO 2014 as the title on spotify), once I realized what it meant I appreciated and loved it so much more! Anyway, there's that whole backstory/origin story thing with EXO, too, which is one of the reasons why their set looks like this, as History is part of their debut mini-album and those songs have videos that are thematic. And you're already getting a bunch of comments on it, but you should react to EXO-CBX HOROLOLO!

EXO used to be 12 members and they'd split into two different groups basically, EXO-K and EXO-M, K would promote in Korea in Korean and M would promote in China with Mandarin. That's also why there's basically 2 versions of each album up until their last Christmas album. EXODUS was the last album to really feature EXO-M, at that time it was Xiumin, Lay, Chen and Tao and on a few songs they'd have for example D.O or Baekhyun come in to do "guest" vocals, since at that time (at least imo) none of the remaining M members were like powerhouse vocalists except for Chen. But then after Tao left it would just be all 9 members on both versions of the album. EXO-K: Suho, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O, Kai, Sehun EXO-M: Kris, Xiumin, Luhan, Lay, Chen, Tao. After Kris and Luhan left though, that's when they stopped splitting up pretty much and just stayed as EXO with 10 members (until of course Tao left, then they were 9), and during their concerts they would split the songs up, for example Mama, they'd sing the first part in Korean, second part in Chinese and then the last part in Korean again. They still do that when Lay is able to perform with them, as far as I know.

Glad to see you're listening to more songs from the beginning of their careers. I think it's important ,when listening to early exo, to also react to exo-m because ot12 exo had a different vibe then exo these days.
