I’m not even an EXO-L, but as a dancer, I can say that Kai is still the best male kpop dancer I have seen until this day (I’ve been to kpop since 1st gen). There are a lot of great kpop dancers as well, but Kai just hits different. His style is very masculine, his popping and locks are very sharp and on point. The guy can do ballet, jazz and contemporary as well. But one of the best he got is his facial expressions whenever he dances. You can really see he is able to embody the song and dance it out. His footwork is also notable. I really want to see him dance personally.

There are idols who can dance as good as Kai but they don’t have his stage presence. In my 12 years of being a kpop fan I’ve never seen an idol as daring or as passionate as Kai. He’s fearless on stage not a single moment of hesitation. He dances every time like it’s his last and that’s what ultimately puts him above all other dancers. I don’t think there is any singer in existence that would watch Kai and not be in awe over his talent.

And I've seen plenty by professional dancers and choreographers of different genres saying that Kai's unrecognizable when dancing different styles. And in all dance styles he looks natural and totally effortless to perfection. And the precision of his movement is insane, as well as body control and balance. These are all the comments of various professionals in different styles. And about the footwork and isolation... Why then so many praise it? In Reason dance practice it looks beautiful. Why do top 3 SM choreographers name Kai the best? Why one of the most renowned choreographers in K-pop chose him the best? Why is Kai chosen the best dancer by other idols a number of years straight? He can nail ANY style, not just execute a certain choreo, and he participates in making choreos too. Kasper said he learns a lot from Kai (edit: it wasn't Kasper, it was actually Mihawk, although for my opponent anybody praising Kai is just nobody, but I'll edit it just for the sake of truth). And choreographers are glad that Kai isn't their rival as they would be left jobless if he chooses to be a choreographer. I'm not going to bash Taemin since he's Kai's bff, but to me Taemin's style looks repetitive and not very controlled.
