Auto tune isn't a problem if it's used for creative purposes plus it's not like exo has abused the power of it for a major portion of their comebacks so it's not bad. After listening to Exo's Lotto, I was literally like "Lord please don't let the end times come anytime soon" because these brothers have a gift that can heal the entire fucking world. Autotune aside I think this is one instance it complimented the track so it was definitely necessary for a repackaged album, just as long autotune in their music doesn't become a habit in future albums or EPs.

I was like you guys when I first listened to the song, normally I don't mind auto-tune especially when I know it's not being used to correct, and it's actually adding an affect to a song. That's totally fine. But with Lotto..... Like literally 95% percent of the vocals are going through the thick auto-tuned robot-y filter and it's honestly just a little too much. I would have been totally fine with them using it like even in like 50% of the song, just as long as there were times during it that their real voices shone through unfiltered. But Lotto does really give us any breathers, it's all very ostentatiously modified and I almost feel suffocated by it. I just really wish there were more moments where they were using their real voices. I'm hoping we get some of that from the live performances.

I listened to the song before watching the MV and I didn't really like it at first. but after watching the video and listening to the song it's definitely grown on me and I actually like singing along to it in the car. PS. you guys should watch their VCR for Do it together. it's pretty cool.
