@@nctsgrass There is not a dramatic reason behind it. The choreographer's defence was that it was hard to form good formations with 8 members as it is an even number. But he didn't specifically address JD situation, his statement was about every complaints about the choreo including JD not being in the first part and JM and KS are being covered by other members in the chorus... So it was a vague statement but yeah we can say that it was because 7 membered formation in the beginning looked good for choreographers.

So he had to wait in the backstage till his part in the song comes. Liza Kingg I understand what you mean and I tried to think like that too. (I’m a very reasonable and positive fan.) But what I had problem with was not the entrance but the fact that he was off stage at the intro... and that he was the only one. I would’ve understood if it was 3-5 or 4-4 or even 2-6... I felt like Chen was singled out. And his entrance was not grand enough to make up for that 18 seconds he lost in stage time. He just comes in and joins the group. Perhaps if he descended from above... then maybe it would’ve been grand enough, hahaha...

What I love about them since 2013 is that despite of their big success after Growl era, they still have their rookie hearts up to this day. They always take care of their juniors whether under SM Ent or other groups from different companies. They don't just promote their own group but promote the whole K-pop industry too. The members always take their time to visit orphanage, centers for those who are in need ever since, EXO members always donate money and even their own time for free for volunteer works. I love how the fans take initiative to do charity works too. Oh ghad, what did we do in the past to have these amazing boys inside and out. Also, their brotherhood is amazing. They don't show it to public too much because they prefer to keep things in private but we all know how much they love each other. I miss Lay big time 😭💖
