You had to watch the preview trailer, it explained that they Red Force (RF-5) took the guardians powers, Baekhyun was the only one who kept his power orb safe. The kitten is EXO-Ls, it came from EXO Planet #1485 (the date the fandom was named). You see it in the video opening playing with the power orbs, sitting beside an EXO light stick. In the video the cat is hitting the button, that's EXO-Ls defending EXO; it also activates the guardians powers, because as they said "without EXO-Ls, EXO would be powerless." The song at the end as Baekhyun falls to earth is Sweet Lies. Gotta wonder where they're going with the whole Mama/Monster/Lucky One/Power concept...and how does Lotto tie in?!

So like the therorie is that exo has lost their power to this machine and baekhyun literally was the only one who still had his power so he saved all of them but in the end you can see that he fell into earth soooo maybe now HE lost his powers And while they were filming this they didnt know that they are gonnna do this shit with powers again 😂

Baekhyun is infiltrated, he in the end only hid as they realized that he was not the Baekhyun of X-EXO They stole exo's powers on Lucky one when they were studying EXO. But still X-EXO won in Obsession and I 😩 I wish Tao was there to save them.

I wish. He can't be in Korea much right now though thanks to his status as a youth ambassador and the Chinese and Korean relations being such a mess. Hahahaha!! As an exol this is my fave exo music video.. the cat represent exols. U can see the cat wearing letter L necklace.. the music had so much deep meaning.. remember kokobop? Chen said during that time their power si weak. And its only the eve before the true war(pertaining the war to the power mv). They lost their power(orb) .. their power is in the machine. They release their treaser during eclipse the true eclipse happened in western country recently. They said the eclipse can stop the war. And and as u can see to their mv the when the eclipse happened they got their power back.. And the last thing to baekhyun.. you can see the continuation of it if u buy the war: the power of music album. It has a comic inside the album is like a comic type btw ^^ u can check it out

So back at the start when they debuted, they all had a power, one that was uniquely theirs (it was first shown in their first music video, 'Mama', where a lot of it is explained). It became a concept and a lot of their music videos followed the same pattern e.g. Kai can teleport, Ximin has power of ice etc. They still continue the concept, but it's more subtle and not in all songs, but MVs like 'Lucky Ones', 'Power' and 'Kokobop' all hint at them; and while Power is shown to be the point where they get their powers, the story is actually explained in Mama. #FetusEXO XD

I think part of this was just so that they could be silly and also, maybe (since they've mentioned the age of their fans lately) to bring in a slightly younger fanbase. A lot of their fans have grown with them. So they are mostly out of high school now and it feels like a lot of fans drop off once they're done with high school or college. That's my guess though. Could be wrong. Just feels like the logical reach.
