The only EXO dance practice that I had to watch 9 times in a row. Simply because after watching it for the 1st time, I realized that I had to watch it 8 more times just to focus on each member as they were all doing an amazing job.

When I found out you reacted this video I said "omg I can't miss it" XD Really love the way you look into the lyrics to find your interpretation. It's not only "wooah listen to their voices !!" but "hey, there's a huge meaning inside this song !" And then... There's the practice version... And everybody could agree... After it I can't even remember what my name was... All of them are shining... it’s almost incredible how spot on you were with your analysis! one fan theory is that this song is actually connected to the lore of exo, who in their universe are aliens from another planet that have been tasked to protect the heart of the tree of life from the red force, who they are being chased by. without going into too much detail about their storyline (cause we would be here for hours lol), me and a lot of other fans believe that this song is about the day the war between exo and the red force started, which is even more fitting because this song is actually on the album called ”the war” lmao. amazing reaction!

If you like EXO's version of "The Eve," you should hear the English version of the song. "The Eve" was co-wrote and composed by Henry Lau from Super Junior-M and he sings a short demo version of the song in English, kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHzCnnuOeMeEra8. There is a clip of Henry in the recording studio singing the song you should watch. Henry is the youngest member of Super Junior -- who are a senior group to EXO, also under SM Entertainment -- and he is considered a music genius. The English version is less than 2 minutes long, but once you hear it you will understand why the choreo for this song was designed the way it is. 😁 (I'm pretty sure the move where they cross their arms above their head is supposed to look like their wrists have been tied up. Yes, the undertone of the song is all about sexual innuendo. LOL) Henry is Chinese/Taiwanese-Canadian, so his first language is English. He recorded a demo of the song so everyone can hear the English lyrics that he wrote and get a feel for the original style of the song. But unfortunately, SM never had Henry record the full English version, which most listeners will agree is a shame, because Henry's vocals and the English lyrics would have made this song an even bigger hit than it already is. As you can see, there is no MV for "The Eve" because it's a B-side track. After seeing the choreography, it would be pretty hard to imagine this song having an MV that would be acceptable for mainstream Korean audiences. Thanks for an EXO reaction. Not quite sure the lyric video is correct as to who's singing. For example, I think it showed Kai at the end? That was all D.O. at the end with all those adlibs. The choreo is fine and that's why so many people try to cover the song and choreo. The covers try to be sexy but the thing you picked up on is how EXO is great at isolating body parts. They don't just gyrate and do regular body rolls. It's just those isolated parts while not moving the rest of the body. The same thing in all the covers of EXO's Love Shot too. Most covers body roll with their whole body; lack of details. That's why EXO's original choreo is hard to copy.
