The LOSI DBXL's are the coolest looking R/C cars on the market in my eye's. I love these DBXL adventures.

WE ran a version of those years ago on (nitro at the time) our overpowered 8th scale race buggys, truggys, & monster trucks (savage ss, etc). The tires got banned cause not only did they super aerate the ground, destroy the driving line for everyone else, & spectators 3 rows back in the bleachers got to eat dirt too!😁😁😁
@old-rcplane-phart2 жыл бұрын
Imagine 6 or 8 at once. Everyone using the same tires. & the track owners/directors' meetings after 1 race day of Everyone using those tires. Hahaha 😆!

That would be devastating. 4 of these on my track would seriously destroy it.

Different hobby but I am into mountain trail running year round, carbide studded ice shoes in winter...even after the snow melts and you're left with mud the steel studded shoes found traction in places no other shoe could. Problem is too much traction can be a good thing, they hooked a Stump nicely and tore my ankle for 4 months....that was the end of studded ice shoes for mud runs 😆 I'm aware off topic, but just sharing experience on the power of studs in mud/soft terrain regardless of what they're mounted to lol nice work getting another rig into the 15s, that's a big rig, it gets better everytime out wallet about to get lighter lol.

I’ve got a set of tyres on my mustang xi2 1/8th nitro from the 80’s and they are nearly identical to these! Although significantly softer and have not perished at all! It’s stored with the chassis on a stand most of the time or the wheels were rotated about twice a year when on a shelf it’s been at least 12 years since I fired the Rex21 up

LpL! Those spikes could alter the surface of the whole planet! Hehe, I was racing at a track in SW England about 15 years ago, with a brushless converted 1/8 Ho-Bao truggy. It had rained before we arrived, and track gradually turned to sticky clay. ( it was the natural local stuff, not a made up surface) After completing about 75% of one race my truggy seemed to slow down and stop. Well the tires were seriously caked up with wet clay. When I walked over to grab the machine off the track, I could hear the motor spin up if I pulled the trigger on my TX. Strange I thought, it didn't sound like stripped gears exactly. Back at the pits, I found all four wheel hexes had spun inside the wheels! LoL! Danm stick clay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
