Vigilante FINALLY Got the Hobbywing Max6 G2

I put a 1650 Max 6G2 in my Kagama, it’s insane, it’s so smooth. The vigilante is like an Xmaxx That handles like an Arrma.

I put the max6 and 4990 / 1650kx in my buddies Xmaxx ….ripped it around the yard for about 10 minutes on a 80+ degree day….stayed cool as a cucumber ….mounted the stock Traxxas heat sink and fans to the HW motor…..it rips pretty good…might do the same for my Xmaxx

Max6 is a MONSTER! I have it in my Felony with the 4990, it destroys the tires amazing!

I've just fitted a Max 6 combo into my Limitless.. WOW.!!! AWESOMENESS.!!! I've just started working on a Bittydesign Destroyer body too.!.. I'm doing it all black.! 😁😁 I've also just got some of those Chinese knock off Hoons to try out, for £18 a set if they last 4 or 5 packs I'll be happy.!

Man it looks like it really needs that esc change. I have the Valkyrie mt. Is it pretty much a smaller version of this truck. I really like the Valkyrie but I want a 1/5 scale and really don’t want to pull the trigger on an xmaxx. Or kraton or outcast. Could possibly be my next big truck.

Try punch 8 or 9 off camera, it’s a hoot. Sneeze and backflip in place😂! 5-7 is the sweet spot!

Maybe for a basher.. I got the Max 6 G2 combo, used it for speedruns. I was using Gamechanger fans on 12 volts. I have three 50mm fans. The esc thermo locked on my third run. So I purchased it through amazon from Horizon, who was the seller. Horizon charged me 45 bucks to replace the combo. Well after two more runs it thermo locked again. I called Horizon, they told me , since I got it threw amazon , it chopped my warranty to 30 days only, they wanted the esc combo back and then wanted to charge me for a new combo at a discount. I called Amazon and explained it to them. I got a full refund. I will never ever buy hobbywing for no speed running again. I think they are jonk. I do have all of the emails as well. I also shared those emails with Amazon.

Wouldn't you want a MAX5 for speed runs? If this were geared faster and I was trying that I'd at least use the Max5 and an 800kv motor for safe 12s
