This reminds me of my 8s Outcast EXB when it lands. The way it just soaks it up and settles down. The only smaller truck I've seen look similar landing is the Gorgon. Being compared to either of those trucks is a pretty darn good accomplishment. If it's got the durability then we've got ourselves a winner. Can't wait for mine to arrive.

Rlaarlo is an overlooked brand that offers tons a bang for the buck. Take a look at their collaboration with Hot Racing with their latest release of Model number CT-8A radio with 7 channel receiver with gyro. A tad over 50 bucks! I think the reason they are overlooked is because their name is hard to pronounce !! 😂😂😂 Rlaarlo! Coloe me impressed!

As an owner of several Arrma's, if this truck at minimum was 1/8 scale at 400.00 or 450.00 Rlarrlo would NOT be able to keep up with sales. I ordered the Carbon one that has more power, i can not wait!

they make a load of upgrades for it. i say you put a big motor with big pinion and see how it takes it. they sell an adjustable motor mount.

if you don't already have a charger you can get a cheap one like this and then order some xt60 battery plugs and it would charge up and run great amzn.to/48BDQdW as you progress in the world of RC you'll eventually want to upgrade chargers but this will work fine for you

Hey Exo what do you think it needs, in terms of air control for doing backflips? The 36 can? Speed pinion? Smaller pinion + bigger wheels/tires? And if possible, whats the diameter on the stock tires? 🤔

Tire and wheel options for this are gonna be unlimited. It has an option to use 17mm hexes! On this tiny truck. That's 6s sized wheel hexes.

@@boduke9428 i'm kinda new to rc so you may know some good tires.. i find that the gearing/offset/bottoming out are the 3 major limiters.. I'd like to turn this into a mini Outcast if i could though. Original wheels are 104mm so i think that 115mmish isn't too bad if they're soft tires. You can still chassis slap then. 125mms would probably be pushing it both looks and mechanically. If you can even find an offset that still allows for steering :P

@@insanebmxthomas I really don't have a lot of experience with smaller rigs. A 4s Arrma has always been a small rig for me. I don't think I'll run much bigger than stock for the reasons you stated. My personal favorites are the Arrma backflips when possible. Just got the text from FedEx that mine will be delivered by end of day Tuesday so we'll know more next weekend what'll work and won't.

Rlaarlo! Always overhyped cheap Chinese pot metal and lookalike carbon sandwiched G10 plate. This one is no exception with the 50 reviews that came out today. lol The 3 cars I got from them all wore out after a dozen runs. They start to fall apart. Then when you get a defective part they blame the customer that it came defective and try to refund you for half the cost of the defective part rather than send you a new one. Never again.

What do you expect for the price? I think Rlaarlo is killing it lately. They've been regularly releasing exciting new models across every genre of RC. I've been very happy with my 787 from them. It's the cheapest 100 mph on road car that I know of. I ordered the carbon roller of this yesterday and a 10BL HW combo to put in it and if it's decent will get the RTR version also. They are also about to release a large crawler with some new features nobody else offers. I'm excited about a young newer company who's trying out new things. Would you rather depend on Traxxass for new platforms? They might give us a new platform once every year or two.
