Gary Holt is a bada$$, and I can't recall him ever writing a bad riff. I've seen him live three times. Once w/Slayer, twice w/Exodus. Dude's got a presence, and he uses gorgeous instruments, as evidenced by his Blood Guitar.

Hell I went to see slayer a few years ago and a dude behind me didn't know exodus was still going, so I told him that they never stopped and arguably released some of their best material. Ironic how in the early days both Metallica and Exodus were on the same track but different cities, yet to this day it's been *EXODUS* holding up that Bay Area Flag!Even before Metallica decided to move to the Bay Area Exodus already had it locked down. fast forward 40 years ....Metallica sold out to the mainstream making millions of dollars and selling millions of records writing rehashed ballads and arena rock n roll all while the mighty Exodus through thick and thin led by the *GOD* himself Gary Holt still writing killer technical thrash metal to their rabid nation!! You will NEVER hear an Unforgiven ballad with Gary and the boys!! Again ironic 40 years and Metallica can't hold Exodus jock when it comes to musicianship and talent why? because they can't do it anymore. Metallica: Lazy, rich, and content writing the same record the last 30 years...Exodus: same age as Metallica, and still writing amazing brutal, technical thrash *METAL!* still blowing away more than half of their peers, and newbie bands today!! I got to say so far guys the mix is definitely tighter in what samples you have given us. That is where i have always loved the sound with Tempo Of The Damned. The sound was just there for me but i am OCD as fuck when it comes to the overall feel i get field wise from a mix every now and then we get that OH SHIT what did we do and can we do it again did you save that shit feeling don't laugh you can't say you haven't been there all of us who haveput down tracks sooner or fucking later you find that spot and getting it again? Yeah when i did once never did again. Sucks ass stinky ball cheese ass but i will never cease to attempt to find that sweet spot. Yeah i know.
