!992, senior in High School, living in Pilot (redneck heaven) NC, had my AM/FM cassette recorder tuned into Chainsaw Rock WKNC w/ tin foil running out of my bedroom to barely catch the signal. Toxic Waltz led the show, every time....I funk'in loved it \m/

I fucking love these videos Zet, especially these ones where you get the guys in the band (or who were in the band) to talk about the history and all the albums and stuff, it’s just killer. Also the clip of the show in ‘85 at the end, you can see James Hetfield keeping guys off of Gary, Rick and Baloff.. fucking legendary😂😂

I went to your San Diego show in April 2022. A friend had an extra ticket and I went checked it out. I knew Testament's sound from their first LP and figured I'll have Fun. I HAD THE TIME OF MY LIFE AND WAS INSTANTLY HOOKED TO YOUR SOUND. I can't stop listening either and am currently buying all your albums, preferably on wax. I listen and produce a lot of electronic music and was not in tune with Metal and Punk anymore. But that has now changed and I'm enjoying all the music now that I've missed over the years. These videos were a great crash course and I learned a lot. When I was a skate kid growing up in Germany in the mid 80s, I went to mostly local shows with Bands like Tankard, Spermbirds, Memento Mori.... But the BAY STRIKES BACK TOUR blew my Mind. Thank you. I also appreciated the Techno intro on the Blood in Blood Out LP. Great stuff!

Great episode. @19:13 Zetro pronounces Neil Peart's surname the same way I've always pronounced it since I became a Rush fan in 1980.

Zet, great interview with Tom, really like when you go way back with your guest. Growing up in the Bay Area went through the same shit with music. Do you remember a band named Violation? Saw them at DVC around 1980.
