Exodus is an American thrash metal band formed in 1979 in Richmond, California.[1] The band has gone through numerous lineup changes, two extended hiatuses, and the deaths of two former band members. Their current lineup consists of guitarists Gary Holt and Lee Altus, bassist Jack Gibson, drummer Tom Hunting, and lead vocalist Steve "Zetro" Souza.

Exodus has always been the heaviest metal band. The guitar riffing and chugging is absolutely crushing, once they get going into a groove it just goes like a freight train for several minutes, this is one of the very few bands that never gets boring to me.

I like how audible the bass is but Tom is totally buried in the mix and the drums are not loud enough (mainly the ride cymbal and toms)

Fucken EXODUS if you're into thrash definitely a go to band that fails to disappoint. Being from the Bay area and So. Cal. In the glory days been to at least 500 shows easy. I miss them all so much. One hell of a good time. No friends like thrasher friends in the PIT!!!
